Most Obvious "Tip" a Game Has Given You?

I love to laugh at all the unhelpful tips that a game offers you. My favourite has to be from Army of Two: "You can die in combat"

So, what's the most laughably obvious thing a game has ever told you?

"Press the Start button to Start" or in some games they say "to continue". Kind of obvious wouldn't ya think?

I was playing a game once, and it put a marker on my compass telling me where to go. what's this shit, I'm not a bloody idiot who can't follow directions. games....

or everything that's in those forced tutorial sections that some games seem to bloody love. it's funny when they dress up moving the mouse around as "calibrating your suit" or whatever crap

That is a great game, You Must Burn the Rope. Although I expected it to have a twist.

I love that game. Great credit song. I remember at a cross-cirricular camp thingy at my school we had to burn through a wet rope.

I'd say in Prototype, after you've won half the game and then you find a well-hidden Hint that says "You can GRAB HOLD of OBJECT by pressing E. You can CHARGE your throw by holding the LEFT MOUSE BUTTON."
