On Lion & Tiger enclosures at zoos, signs that read something like:

"Warning these animals may bite. Do not attempt to climb into the enclosure or put any part of your body through the fence"
I would not call that label pointless. Most of those warnings are "Do not step beyond the safety rail or go near the cage." It may sound pointless at first look, but there are many tourists and children, especially, that climb over the railing or go nearer to the enclosure to have their picture taken. All it serves to do is irritate and stress the animal. Then you have cases like the tourist who sat next to a panda exhibit and subsequently lost his jacket when the panda ran over and grabbed him, or the child who fell into the gorilla cage. More recently there were some teenagers who went into a tiger exhibit at night for one dumb reason or another and the tiger of course attacked them - the tiger being the one who was shot down and killed because it got free due to the teens.

So yes, I do not find that one pointless.

Someone brought up the "Seizure" label on games far earlier in the thread. I find that that label is fairly important as well. Many people do not know they will have issues with the fast action and blinking lights. Some don't think much about it. I actually appreciate the epilepsy label on Nintendo packages, which go into far more detail of the symptoms than Sony or Microsoft.

I personally enjoy the American Halloween hang-noose label: "This product is not to be used to hang family, friends, or humans, pets, animals, or any living being." Which was more recently enforced, I had found through a friend, because some child in America attempted to pull a stunt of hanging himself to scare others, then died when people thought he was acting.
:sigh: ya know in da ould dayz, we called that survival of the fittest... and left it at that.

One of my favorites is on plastic pop bottles:
Caution: contents under pressure. Aim away from face when opening. I can't say that I have ever been injured by a bottle of pop and I've opened a lot of them. Even shook up ones only spray pop on you which, while being sticky and hard to clean up, is hardly dangerous.

Another is on plastic wrap boxes:

Warning: sharp cutting edge. I'd hope so, otherwise you'll need scissors to cut the plastic wrap!

How about on some video games? I've seen ones that say things in the rating like "graphic depictions of violence" or "tobacco use". It's especially funny when there is something like a picture of a guy smoking a cigar and holding a huge gun on the game case cover.

On a package of peanut flips: "May contain peanuts". Well, that´s a nice thing to know.

I think all people should get the words "Warning! Idiocy may cause death or serios injury." tattooed on their arm at birth. Just to remind them...

On a Claymore - Aim at Enemy
How do you aim a sword?
Eh, He meant Claymore as in explosive satchel mine that fires shrapnel really fast if you walk into a laser sight/cause movement
You can aim mines now? I thought they just sat there and waited for some unsuspecting person to become an instant paraplegic.
If COD 4 isn't lying then claymores actually have a forward area to which the laser or movement sensors point, and where the shrapnel is thrown.
Nah COD 4's Claymore's can also tell what team your on.

I know mcdonalds has to put a label on their coffee saying warning: beverage may be warm because someone was going to sue them for spilling it on their lap.
