Pulp Fiction's conclusion is my favourite part of the whole movie.
Red Dead Redemption's ending was also fantastic, and I'd never seen a game end that way...
I'd say more about it but I wouldn't want to spoil it.

Stalker: CoP. Dunno why, but I really liked it. It kinda summed everything up in a very "This is the story, and it is over" kind of way. Also, Fallout (1 & 2) style endings are cool.

Personal favourite would have to be MGS4.

Tied up everything nicely and left no question unanswered.
It's a tie between MGS4 and Mass Effect 1. MGS4's ending was undoubtedly awesome and worked perfectly. I am rarely satisfied with endings to series because they're usually done poorly, but that one was beautiful.

I loved Mass Effect 1's ending because there were so many things I was thinking and it truly felt cinematic and epic. One of the very few franchises in history that I have played through many, many times and still continue to do so because it makes me feel so immersed.

'The Bard's Tale' best game ending scene i ever witnessed, back in the day when my ps2 and i saw each other more often.
Ha! That game was great too! Funny I thought I was one of the only people who actually enjoyed that game.

For me it's either Mafia or Conker's Bad Fur Day.

No, seriously, for a game as full of crude jokes and toilet humour as Conker's was, it's ending message hit like a ton of bricks.

If this is the game that I'm thinkin then I would have to agree with you sir.
Having a First Goodbye implies that there might be more, ne? ^_^

Personally though I prefer Aeka cuz of all the BS she went thru to finally have that last moment on the roof.
Oh, I definitely love her route far and beyond Mizuki's or Nekoko's (though I really liked those, too). It's just that, for whatever weird reason, it was Mizuki's actual ending that made me walk around in a warm and fuzzy stupor the next day.

It didn't occur to me until a week later just how much that managed to mask how subtly horrifying her unhappy ending was.

What? Just mentioning the title is a spoiler? Gahh! You just made me very curios... Cant you tell me please? No? Pretty please with sugar on top? Oh...wait i think i have a hunch on which game it is...
Hmm, you might already know, unless you weren't around to see me give my reactions to individual endings in the group, and I managed a (very, very vague) hint in my review. If you weren't, though...

Mass Effect 2 ending gave me chills but the best ending is Red Dead Redemption. That game gets you so emotionally involved with the characters and that ending is just... brilliant.

I have to agree that Red Dead Redemption had an amazing ending, and the epilogue mission provided a satisfying outlet for all of the emotions I was left for at the end of the game.
Dragon Age: Origins, depending on how good you feel like being, has one of the most emotionally resonant endings I've ever seen in a game.
I may be in the majority, but I really loved the ending to Assassin's Creed II. It was such a complete mind-blow, and I can't wait for the next game.

My favorite endings are those that do not cause the story to end, but no cliff-hangers. One of the endings that has the characters continue on. It's no fun for me if the characters die or stop living and having adventures.

I hate endings. They have to wrap up a storyline that I care about, and it's usually done in a way that I don't care for. I want the impression that life for the characters will go on after the narration has ended. I suppose that's why the ending of Inception springs to mind. It's hardly the most conclusive ending ever.

Alpha Protocol does quite well, meeting up with all the major characters (or at least having the option to) before dealing with the big bads and blowing everything up.
