Oh my God this. I remember being quite confused there.

MW2, because jumping with a anti-material rifle that weighs at least 40 LBS is legit shit.
What gun would that be? The Barret is not used in single. You would be surprised at what people can do.
The Intervention is a anti-material rifle and there is a Barret in the basement of the house in Loose Ends

I'll agree on the unrealistic ability to survive gunshots to the face. Having to shoot a Bruiser on Borderlands in the face 10 times is highly unrealistic.. what are we shooting them with.. ketchup packets?

Well, ignoring any issues relating to magic ;)

I'd say bits where they're blatantly breaking the laws of physics.

One obvious example: the ludicrously oversized sword in a lot of FF games.
from people's movement animations, gravity/mass is roughly the same.
Even if he was ludicrously strong enough to wield the sword, it'd weigh more than he does so all the animations for it are wrong just for balance reasons, or the sword is made of essentially weightless material.

Yes, i know i'm reading far too much into it, but it just makes me laugh everytime i see it as it seems so out of place.
The same way i do on disaster films where realism gets totally thrown out the window (lets drive a truck over molten lava without dying!)
:D

Agreed, you know their criminals why not just stay behind and shoot Makarov and his friends in the back of the head?

Whenever you talk to people and they say the same things over and over again, like they've been practicing the lines, or they repeat lines the same way to different questions...they never make you feel like you're talking to them casually

Timeshift or Mario. I mean, c'mon. Little live turtles, and koopas. What about timeshift? It's like a future, FPS version of Prince of Persia.

The ending of the first Uncharted with all the zombie monster things. The whole game had no paranormal things then all of a sudden your being eaten by zombies. Made no sense to me.

About the ending of Uncharted 2... It doesn't make sense for there to be a giant outdoor city that hasn't been found in modern times. Someone would have at some time flown over it or imaged it by satellite. It would even be visible on Google Maps!

Never mind the fact that Makarov,a known associate of the bad guy from CoD4,walks into an airport(which presumably has cctv cameras)with his face totally uncovered and guns down several dozen civilians and cops yet no one suspects him.Instead they blame the undercover guy who was suspiciously shot at point blank range in an area the cops hadn't reached yet

Oh right. I forgot about that one. They really did scale that gun down in size.

rocket knight adventures. Knights don't have jetpacks, let alone knight possums, wait a second do knight possums even exist?

Awesome game.

On Topic:
RPG that allow you to revive characters during fights but If a character dies during a cut scene they are gone forever. They kind try and explain it by saying 'you are only knocked out when fighting' but meh. The only RPG I found that had a good explanation was Phantasy Star 2 -where if a character died you had to go to a clone lab and make a copy of them. It's a weird feeling of finishing a game where your characters died (well with me anyway) near the beginning and you end up with a nth carnation of that character.

Halo 3... Falling from space and surviving...

Then they inspect the chief and they go, "Oh the gel layer is gone!"

I was like ".... Where the fuck was this gel layer in Halo 2?!"

So let me get this straight. The Master Chief can't survive a fall, but he can fall from space and still survive? What the fuck is that gel made out of?
