Transformer movies, Clash of The Titans Remake, The Last Airbender, the latest Indiana Jones and the Terminator Salvation. I will stay mad at all of them for wasting my time and money, and I'm still waiting for an apology.

yeh the good guys had terrible terrible acting and can't pronounced any of the names right. Iroh wasn't a friendly looking short fatman. BUT i honestly thought that was the best summary of an entire first season of a show condensed to a 2 hour movie i could have possibly hoped for. The martial arts were spot on, and the CG was good. the kid who played Zuko stole the whole movie. They didn't try to change anything dramatically.

I'm really interested to know y you hated the movie so much.

It is a boring, dry piece of tripe with a premise founded on a plothole, yet is universally lauded as the "BEST MOVIE EVAR", which implies that 70 years of filmmaking and going are just inferior to one mediocre movie.

Thankyou for replying. In my opinion it is one of the five greatest films in the histoy of American cinema for the cinematography and the mythology alone in terms of Welles opposition to the studio system. There are many reasons to love the film (of course it is subjective) but equally as you have highlighted reasons for some not to like the film.

Twilight, Any movie based off a Nicholas Sparks novel (seriously I can't see the difference between The Notebook, The Last Song, and A Walk to Remember), Dragon Ball Evolution (that movie took my childhood and raped it), The Human Centipede, Antichrist, Citizen Kane, Every stupid french new wave movie.

Conversely, I am a massive fan of anime (and generally take a mental Yahtzee-esque review style to stuff I watch) but there are very few series out there that I actually consider to be 'good' (approx. 8% if my rating system is anything to go by). Out of everything I've watched, I've only ever given three series 5/5 (Tokyo Magnitude 8.0, Fuujin Monogatari and... something else that escapes me at present, though Hourou Musuko is looking like a contender for a fourth).

Anyway, OT: yet another one's come to mind, while talking about anime: Grave of the Fireflies

It's a brilliant film... but who's bright idea was it to make an adaptation of such a depressing story, and then release it as a double bill with My Neighbour Totoro?!

While all Friedberg & Seltzers, Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, and Twilight are all great options, I'd erase the second and third Matrix films, to ensure the beautiful concept explored in the first movie (and was actually marvellously done in Animatrix) would not get muddied.

Yeah, if it was just the first movie, the Oracle would have been right - he wasn't the "one" that would save them, and I thought it made a decent ending.
Then they had to go and screw up all that with sequels... bah.

Allright then. If only one, let it be the latest Indiana Jones. Don't have to explain, I think?

Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one that actually enjoyed that movie, although Shia Lebouf swinging on vines like a damn monkey made me roll my eyes.

Anyway, I would rid the world of (and the memory of) Fullmetal Alchemist: The Conqueror of Shamballa. It's not that the rest of the movie is bad, it's just that it ended horribly. I would much rather have seen a few new episodes that expanded on that story a good bit than shove all the characterization and story of an entire season into one bloody short movie. And the ending would be different - Ed and Al would have stayed in Amestris rather than be stuck in our boring fucking world with no alchemy or way to get back, and no people other than them that were actually in the show. The ending of that movie is just so annoying and disappointing and everytime I think about it I just want to punch whoever wrote it in the face. I hope Brotherhood ends better (and please don't spoil it for me!)

I ignore that movie I'm just glad Brotherhood is here now, so I can try to forget it

Oh god yes, I cannot relate to you how much that movie killed me to watch, I saw it with a group of friends and two of us decided at one point that we were taking it seriously anymore and just spent the rest of the movie taking the piss out of it (Making fun of, for non-aussies).
