Wow, a lot of Titanic and Social Network hate out there. Here is the thing about Social Network, its about a man sacrificing his only friendship to become a billionaire. Yes, he creates Facebook, but the point of the story is all the money can't save him from being a lonely little man.

As far as Titanic goes, if you despise romance, then it is not your movie. I like period pieces enough to go and see the film, and it was good enough to have me care about the fate of the protagonists as the entire ship falls apart around them.

The Godfather, if you refuse to watch it then it really is your loss. Its flaws are few and greatly outweighed by its epic scope and sweeping story-line. Easily, the most quotable script of all time. The movie is not about nice people, and I guess that could be a reason to stay away from it it if you can't stand the good guys really being bad guys.

The Wizard of OZ

I don't watch the movie, because it's really funny to see people's reaction to me saying that.
You're not really missing much. It's one of those 'what do you mean it wasn't made on drugs?' sort of movies. But only slightly.

On topic, most things that my sister wants to tie me to a chair to watch. Probably romcoms and shit. I don't know, I tend to run before she has chance to tell me.

Torture Porn. The name alone tells all I need to know: the plot only serves to witness people getting horribly maimed. I have enjoyed graphic and violent movies, but there has to be more to a story than gore. Robocop, for example, has themes about resurrection, corporate greed, and our crumbling economy to go along with the ultra-violence it serves up. Things that I could ponder between the action scenes that gave the movie some depth.

On another note it would be really hard to get me to see anything else made by McG. I just hate that name. Sadly, his Kirsten Dunst "Turning Japanese" video is still his best work.

Thor. Color blind casting purely to spit on all of us Norse Mythology fans(the director admitted that this is why he did it)? Yeah, I'll be voting with my wallet.

Also Roots. Unless they remake it with a blonde hair blue eyed guy lead.
For all my Chilean pals out there, your choice in avatar name is crude and shameful. Its the southern hesiphere version of Hitlersmypal or Stalinwasawesome. In the immortal words of George Takei: "You sir are a douche-bag."

The third Matrix. The first was great, the second was okay and I could care less about the third.
Took the words right out of my mouth. I loved the first one, the second one annoyed me so much that I openly refuse to see the third. Aside from that, I also refuse to see the Twilight series, the second Crank movie (the first was stupid enough) and most romantic comedies. I would list which ones, but there are just too many to name.

Any of the gore-porn movies like the saw series and hostel.
Also the notebook. I am a man, I have no reason to subject myself to that.
I can't speak for the other Saw movies, because I just don't really care, but the first Saw movie was actually pretty good.
I do agree about Hostel though, I'm avoiding that one. And The Human Centipede.
Apart from that, Stormbreaker comes to mind. I've seen one scene from that, where Jack is kidnapped by the bad guys... That shouldn't happen.
There are probably others, but for the most part I'll give a movie a chance. I am trying my hardest to avoid the Twilight movies. My girlfriend did make me watch the second one (I played Oblivion on my laptop the whole time) but luckily she's stopped caring about Twilight.

The Harry Potter films that my Fiancee hasn't made me watch.

I've seen The Order of the Phoenix, a little bit of Half Blood Prince and Part 1 of Deathly Hallows, and although the action was okay, the rest just bored me.

Any Harry Potter film, and the twilight series, said them together but there's no interconnectivity between the reasons why not to

The Dark Knight. Anything that nerds will suck off at any given moment does not deserve my time. Anyone who sees differently needs to get Batman's dick out of their mouth.

Naw, I'm just kidding. It's all a matter of opinion.

-The Saw Movies (not a fan of torture porn)
-The Twilight Movies (of course)
-The Transformers Movies (I don't mind Michael Bay, I just despise Shia LaBeouf)
-The Godfather Saga (I just don't see the point)
-The Passion of the Christ (same reason I won't watch Saw)
