September 7th? Fer christ's sake its taken them long enough. Japan got it in January so Sep 7th makes it 2 days shy of being of being out for 6 months before the english localization was done. Wtf happened with this game? "ooo we've added extra stuff for you westerners" yeah yeah, and then you'll go and add more and only sell it to the japanese ya wankers. Here's a hint square; finish the game before you release it anywhere!!
I mean my god, I think I heard shortly after it was released in japan that they'd started recording voice actors. Really? You waited till AFTER the japanese release to get your shit in gear and record voice acting? I'm really starting to get fed up with the business practices they use for the KH franchise. There is no acceptable reason for them to take 6 months to release the localization for it.
Do you have any idea how hard it is to avoid spoilers for this game for 6 freaking months? No, you don't square cause you've already played and beaten the game 1000x over by now.

I'd be more interested in the KH series if they would stick to either one platform or release the games on all or most platforms. Making these games for the handhelds (handhelds not many people have according to the NPD reports *cough* PSP *cough*), and not releasing the Final Mixes (on top of no news on KH3... kinda like HL: Episode 3) are why I lost interest in these games.

I don't see the big issue with the story in KH. I follow it just fine, and I didn't even play the original or Chain of Memories (an hour or two on Wikipedia solved that particular snag fairly well).
On topic, I don't have a PSP so I'm pretty disappointed about this one. I played 358/2 and loved it, but the voice acting was very sparse. I may have to find a way to borrow a PSP or just watch a playthrough. Leonard Nimoy is undoubtedly awesome, but I'm more excited about Mark Hamill.

I would have been fine with that but the thing is, i've played the other 2, never owned them, recently got a PS3 thinking I could play those on their, was shocked to find out that the newer PS3s don't have PS2 backwards compatibility, so then I figured, oh the third is bound to come out soon.... and now I find that it wont be due until after 2012 D':twaddle said:

I stopped having interest in Kingdom Hearts' endless FFVII-esque milking of sequels and prequels when I saw the "hidden" ending on Kingdom Hearts II. Seriously, does the guy NOT know how to just make a good game with a GOOD ending? Why all the extra drama and other crap shoved into it?
I thought KH2 was fine until they started hinting at the whole "Keyblade Wars" shtick. Now I have no interest in the newer games, but my cousin does, so I'll likely have to endure hearing all about this from him when he catches up to the news... I won't be telling him about this before hand. >_>

actually this time tetsuya nomura is trying not to bull shit the European and North Americans like he did in the past when he released the games in the in english about 1 month later he would release a new version of the game with extras that europe and north america didn't have. (see final mix, re-chain of memories)but you are correct about the voice acting thing. the release was originally supposed to be this summer in North America and late summer in Europe. stupid squaresoft, if they managed to get their hands on the copy rights they would be rolling in green. that goes for any star wars characters as well.

Good to see Disney keep putting that massive budget of theirs to good use. Anyone that hires Christopher fuckin' Lee for their game is alright in my book.
