It is all too common when I hear two men making a bet where the loser has to shave their hair into a mullet. They were a very popular hairstyle when I was growing up, and a few people in my High School had them. So, why is it that people think Mullets are dumb?
P.S. what hairstyle do you think is stupid? My vote goes for the Beehive.
I don't automatically mock most hairstyles because they all can work ON THE RIGHT PERSON.
The major pitfall of the mullet is that it looks like shit on most people.
I've seen it work on exactly TWO people and they were both:
1) Women
2) Aged in their fifties with graying hair
3) A little on the heavy side
4) Had the back either partially or entirely in braids
I can't explain it exactly, but for some reason it just worked on both of them.
Now then, the one and only hairstyle I can think of offhand that I despise without reservation is teenager medium length 'skater hair.' I don't know if it has an actual name but I know it when I see it. Hair that goes past the ears but isn't long enough to be called 'long hair' much less tied into a pony-tail, mostly straight on the top, flares out/curls on the edges.
I hate HATE HATE that hairstyle. I've never seen someone who had it that didn't also come off as a lazy, dirty, punk ass 'Hey dude, me and my peeps were gonna roll over to the Pita-Pit, wanna come bro?' skater fuck.
Causes mullets are the preffered style of haircut to eshes and bgans, tied with the mighty rat-tail. I'd like to not associate myself with a pack of dipshits.
That and they just look stupid, like the person can't decide between short or long, so they just get some fucked up hybrid
Unfortunately people around my area don't realise that. They have their mullets and their fob patches, so many have this too, it's not like 1 or 2 people have the mullets, it's a good chunk of the people between 14-20. I don't live out in the country either, I only live about an hour drive from Sydney.
