Seriously, is it too much to ask to have Robin, Nightwing, or Red Robin in these things? I think its a relatively good decision to have any one of those characters playable. Especially the most recent Robin, being the psychopath that he is. Do people really hate the Boy Wonder that much?
Robin unfortunately falls under Wesley Crusher Syndrome. He's the perfect "son", bright and talented with not many flaws.

Yes, or do you forget the fact that Jason Todd was killed because more people called in to have him killed than save him.
Jason Todd? You mean
the guy they brought back from the dead as the Red Hood.
I honesty think Dick Grayson, Tim Drake/Wayne, and Damien Wayne are all good Robins. Besides, its classic. Batman and Robin. Its like Peanut butter and Jelly or Nutella and pancakes. You think of one and the other just pops into your head.

if they make it a AC: Bratherhood-ish multiplayer it should be fine..and don`t worry, they won`t fuck up the singleplayer because of the success of the first game (they can`t afford it, to many fans)

also, co-op would be nice too :d

So maybe co-op play? That might be fun for predator rooms, synchronized take downs and what not.
That gives me syncronized Mark and Execute vibes from Conviction..

OT: Well as long as it doesnt effect the main story and still delivers quality like the first Arkham, I'm one seriously happy chap.

Looking forward to this game, but I'm not saying anything about the multiplayer until I find out more.

This is true in some cases (very early Dick Greyson), but it doesn't have to be. I think it would be nice to have Robin or Nightwing backing up Batman or as a playable character.

That depends on WHAT robin you're talking about.

There were like five.

If the MP is anything like Splinter Cell: Conviction, I will welcome it with open arms.

I'd also like to be able to unlock, or even buy, Green Arrow/Speedy as alternate costumes. That would be awesome in my books.

My first thought was something like team death match (which of course lead to RAGE). However if they did something like the Deniable Ops from Splinter Cell Conviction..... that just might work out.

Regardless of how it is I just don't do multiplayer. And I especially don't like the idea in stealth games. I like to take my time and do it my way, and if I have someone else running about I'm either going to slow them down or they'll ruin my long awaited moment to strike. They can add multiplayer if they want, but if the story mode suffers for it or if it punishes me for going it alone I will not be pleased.

Indeed, there were a total of 5 robins but in this plot I can only see AC having either Dick Grayson or Tim Drake-Wayne (both of whom do have WC syndrome). Jason Todd is, for all intents and purposes, dead, Damien Wayne is not well known enough (although his angst would fit well in this world) and no way in hell they're gonna put Stephanie Brown in.

All these images of Catwoman were also in Game Informer this month along with a walkthrough of that section. Essentially, Two-Face is trying to execute her to up his reputation among the other gang leaders in Arkham City, Batman goes in to rescue her, she slashes Two-Face and manages to escape with Bats. They talk, and she leaves. There's no mention of any co-op play during that section, so for the moment I'd suggest cooling our jets on who the potential co-op partners are. It /could/ be her, but what they're showing is just part of the early story, so who knows who will show up as the game goes on.

All I hope is that the single player mode doesn't take a hit through some pointless need to cram in multiplayer.
This.

Co-op is fine, as long as it doesn't effect my single player experience. If I have to put up with retarded Catwoman AI I'm going to nerd rage.

Hopefully it will work like Portal 2 with two completely different campaigns.
