That is a rather interesting way of looking at it.

Given how immature Thor and most of the rest of the Norse gods were, I could totally picture them camping each other and shouting insults like "noob tuber" and other silly stuff.

Norse heaven maybe, but it seems more like hell to me.

Holy fuck, I never really thought of it that way before. It'll certainly make Battlefield a lot more interesting.

Technically, I think Beowulf is in Christian lore, since Grendel is supposed to be a descendant of Cain. But, still funny.
Nah, that got added later by the monks and whatnot who translated the poem. As I understand it, the clergy of the time were major fans of Norse literature and heroic poetry, but didn't want to get in trouble for distributing stuff centered around pagan gods, so they threw in a few random Christian tie-ins to make it acceptable.

Bonus: Describe the differences and similarities between Zombies mode and Ragnarok.
Similarities are:
- Both have (dead) heroes duking it out with hordes of evil dead.
- Both have hellish hounds. Ragnarok only has one though.

Differences include:
- Ragnarok has wolves devour the Sun and the Moon. Zombie mode does not.
- Ragnarok has a giant serpent whose stirring causes great floods upon which the ship Naglfar sails, made from the toenails of the dead and carrying the hordes of Hel. Neither huge snake nor ship are in Zombie mode
- Ragnarok has the giant Surtr riding across the world, covering it in fire. Zombie mode does not have fire giants.
- Ragnarok has the Aesir fighting the shit mentioned above and mostly dying in the progress. Zombie mode lacks Norse gods fighting to the death.

There is in fact a multi-player map in Halo 3 called Valhalla, so perhaps Bungie had this idea in mind already. Then again, given that Halo is basically a kitchen sink of mythological references, perhaps not...

I can't believe I never thought of this before. I have a huge interest in Norse Mythology, especially in Valhalla. It is kind of scary how close they are. People locked in constant battle and enjoying it. That's pretty awesome, Great comparison skills, man.
but i bet the vikings never expected 12 year olds to be bunny hopping past screaming about campers and calling everyone fagots in vahalla
I suspect teabagging wasn't in their original vision either.
I disagree.

I'm pretty sure that teabagging was actually a key element of battle following the clash of shield walls. Think about it - the winning side steps over the dead bodies as they advance, the rear ranks of the shield wall then complete the victory by teabagging the fallen.

Fact.

source: Nothing. I don't need sources, evidence or anything to support what I'm saying. Like religion.

It's Christian lore in the same way that Christmas and Easter are Christian holidays... That is to say, they're not, they've just been hi-jacked by Christians.

So is single player the feast in between battles?
No, single player is life. When you die in single player (i.e. finish playing it or, in some cases, actually die) you go to multiplayer and don't care about whatever happened in single player anymore.

That's... A comparison. Don't you have some homework that needs doing, or something?

after the first few battles, you get to know the spawn locations and camper spots, you can easily counter them after a while.

also, warriors of the days of old will have gotten so tough they can probably wield mounted-guns by hand like the OP sons of bitches they are.
