Great sleeping tracks
You're right, but IMO Damnation is even better from Opeth when it comes to sleeping tracks.

Whole Opeth is amazing anyway.
Quoted for Truth.

Also, somewhat obviously, "Sleep" by Dandy Warhols

as well as "Sleep" by Poets of the Fall

and since we're already by the "Alan Wake/Max Payne Music Guys"

You should try some of Mike Oldfield or Rick Wakeman's stuff, they are really relaxing. In particular you should try Oldfield's "Music Of The Spheres" album, its simply brilliant.

Also for some reason, I once managed to fall asleep listening to Siren Song of the Counter Culture by Rise Against. I still don't know how tired I must have been for that to happen.

Streamline by Pendulum on low volume.

And you'll hate me for this, but Art of The Dress by Daniel Ingram, as featured in the recent My Little Pony series.

The XX's self titled album is pretty good to listen to. It's all calm and quiet stuff with rather soothing vocals, if you like their sort of stuff then it would definitely be a good choice to sleep to.

You could also try listening to Jose Gonzalez's beautiful rendition of Heartbeats on repeat, I know I could do that. He also does a mean Teardrop too.

But I didn't even get to that song. By the time I had woken up again I was only up to Dancing for Rain. So I didn't listen to Swing Life Away at any point.

Not sure if anyone here knows the music; but Explosions in the Sky really works for me. Or William Fitzsimmons.

Silence, also comes to mind (I mean actual silence, not just a band named silence)

For some reason, I find this really soothing and mellowing to listen to. It puts me in a surreal, calm mood.

It's a long, calm instrumental. The rest of the album works as well even with lyrics.

Imagine, if you will, that you have been scared. Shocking, I know; for your steely psyche it must have been something rather traumatizing. But you are scared. You're freaking the fuck out. And, most importantly, it's three in the fucking morning. So. What playlist of songs do you listen to as you try to fall asleep?
Her Name is Calla! It's such chilled out music for the most part and it's rather wonderfully post-rock :)

I have quite a few songs that would do the trick, but these three are the first that come to mind.

1) Strobe by Deadmau5. It's so epic and calming.

2) White Balloons by Sick Puppies. Love this song.

3) Nemo by Nightwish. Tarja's voice = eargasm.

And...

True, but that goes without saying. But personally, I find earlier Opeth much more entrancing and as such, better sleep music. Older Opeth is better in general also

I can fall asleep to any music! In fact, I fall asleep to music all the time. :)
