I can agree with the fact that your country's laws are your country's laws, however when someone throws a tantrum(even a well controlled one) and targets a multinational company for something they didn't create, trying to force them to take down the works of someone who made those works in another country, with different laws, I find that rather childish and immature, it's like someone holding a protest against microsoft, because some terrorist organization used computers with their operating system installed to plan an attack in a different country except, in this case, nobody was at all physically harmed by this video, nobody thought much of it, and the people at google, aren't responsible for whether or not someone/or a group of people, feel(s) offended by a video on youtube.

You do know that the most effective way to remove power from hateful terms is to laugh them off and carry on right? Most of the hateful assholes who spout the kind of speech to infuriate people based on race/religion/sexuality/gender are either doing so out of ignorance(people can learn if taught correctly, I've seen people go from racist pricks to overall decent people, it isn't an easy transition, but it can happen, fueling their hateful misconceptions however is the worst way of trying to do that, that and being agressive in trying to change their opinion, as all that does is either reinforce the negativity related to their hate, or make them defensive against you, also multiplying their hate as retaliation for a percieved attack on them or their upbringing), or they are TRYING TO PISS YOU OFF, why? Because if you start a fight over it, they can justify retalliation, and it makes YOU look bad, all they did was say something, you fought back... It's the school bully mentality, and if a person is truly insecure enough about who they are, and what they believe that some fucking moron saying something that badmouths them or someone close to them, causes outrage, all it says is that the individual/group doing so needs to grow up, or choose a different path in life, one they can feel confident, and secure in.
I've been looked down uppon, talked down to, told off, insulted, and outtright attacked for reasons of being different, but I never thought, "OH, PEOPLE LIKE THIS ARE ALL OUT TO GET ME! WAAAAAAAAH!!!" I thought "What the hell, are these people really so immature, or retarded?"
and carried on with my life, especially when all that was being thrown at me that day were words, from the mouthes of people with little intelligence.
On the internet, I just consider anyone who spouts stupid nonsense, or makes insulting videos about things to be either trolls, or stupid attention whores, nothing more.
You don't need some utopia of mature respect, to be mature, and ignore immature idiotic bullshit, in fact we can never hope to have such a utopia until people grow the fuck up and stop reacting in this way, to stuff like this.
