Best memory: He once spent 3 days playing video-games with me non-stop when I was younger. He taught me nearly everything I know, he's funny as hell and I love him. Not to mention all the trips to firing ranges, concerts and amusement parks.

My Dad is cool because:

-He was a musician with his own band and even released a CD
-He is trained in Eskrima to a high level and even became an instructor
-His job requires him to save people on a relgular basis, he's a hero in a literal sense
-His taste in music kicks ass (as does his taste in films, books and cartoons)
-Almost every conversation I have with him is interesting, enlightening and philosphical
-He could probably beat up your Dad

But most of all my dad is cool because when my dad was in college he knew about this guy who beat women. On multiple occasions my dad confronted him trying to convince him to stop. The only response that he got back was:"They like it".
My grandpa's brother was a farmer at the time, so my dad bought 500 crickets and then bought 5 chickens that had only been fed corn drizzled with olive oil. (It gives them the runs.) He put the crickets and chickens in the guys room and locked it off.
When the guy managed to find a spare key (5 days later) , he found that there was chicken poop everywhere. Floor, walls, ceiling, furniture, everything. When he reported it to the police, the only evidence they found was a typed notecard in a plastic bag. It read: "I'm pretty sure they don't like it, jackass."

My dad is cool because he has no problem with me playing violent games and indeed has not had any problem with me playing them since i started doing so at about eight years old. Hell, me and him used to play Resident Evil on the PS1 together, and when the PS2 was released he used to sit and watch me play GTA III.

Oh and over the past few months he's bought me drink on a couple of occasions for parties and the like (I'm underage).

My Dad is awesome. He works with his hands. He's a Jack-Of-All-Trades (And master of a few of them). He's got a biting sense of humour, and he treats everyone equally, not matter their station in life. He's very smart, and he could probably kick your dad's butt, not that he would, he's too cool for that.

My dad is awesome because he lets me do what i want when my mum wont let me. He is really nice to everyone and even took on my cousin as a makeshift dad for her debutine and stuff. He is an excellent wood worker and used to be in the army as a weapons trainer then joined the airforce... He rocks!
