Call me crazy but I see a security flaw in a locked box made out of lego bits.

Hard to open? Give me five minutes with it and I'll have it open for ALLL to see....after I throw it out the window in frustration.

The only thing he forgot were defense measures, like electric shocks or spikes, just in case a puzzle solver happens to decide that a hammer might get the job done more quickly.
You know, as I was reading this, I was thinking the exact same thing, that it wouldn't work as a very good security device when it can be defeated by a standard claw hammer.

In the center of the box is a clock so you can see how much time you've wasted.

Lol... Too much free time. I mean I guess if he enjoyed it. But doesn't it sort of kill tomorrows task?

8,000 pieces?
that's nothing
James May built an entire house with 3 million
Wow. I googled it. That house is impressive, and Wilder's box is impressive.

I love Lego blocks (which I have called "Legos" from time to time).

I would consider buying the plans if he can legally sell them.

Also, there is no such thing as "a Lego", Lego is a brand, they sell blocks/bricks/pieces so neither lego nor legos is correct. Say "Lego pieces" if you must, but only in the first instance to establish context.
My offer still stands.

Hell, sell the plans to a company that can fabricate it out of something more hammerproof. Make sure you get some royalties before you sign anything though.
