Welcome to Mythicality, a game where you control the fabric of creation, where you are the god.
Name: Father of the Desert
Description: The Father of the Desert is an old God who appears in the form of a Jackrabbit with antlers on its head. He is known for playing tricks on mortals who wrong him or his creatures by creating mirages and sand storms. He and his creatures will sometimes lead lost travelers to sources of water.
Personality: The Father of the Desert pays little attention to most creatures that aren?t his and when he does it is usually to protect his creatures. He is known to protect his creatures when they are threatened using mirages and sandstorms. He wishes to save the creatures of this world?s deserts from the people that live around them
Backstory: The Father of the Desert started as a Trickster god for a tribe that lived nearby a desert. However as time passed the tribe gained firearms he started to use his powers to protect the various creatures of the desert from the tribe. However his powers couldn?t save them from the nuclear fires that the tribe unleashed he has then tried to keep the same mistake from happening again.
Stats:
Ultimate aspect-Desert Father: Since all desert animals are his children he is able to call on their aid.
Aspect-Desert tricks: As a desert god he has the power to call up a sandstorm or mirage to escape from his enemies and protect the creatures of the desert
Aspect- Scent of Water: He is able to guide those that get lost in his deserts to a source of water
Trait-Desert Home: The desert and its creatures always seems to follow him no matter where he goes
Persona-Guardian: He dedicates his entire existence to protecting the desert and its inhabitants
Flaws-Trickster: His powers can do little to no harm to most people and stem from his trickster origins
Nemesis-Guardian of the Sun's Fire: The Sun god of tribe that destroyed his home the Guardian encouraged them to discover the fires of the atom. He has followed him to most worlds to stop the same devastation from happening again.
Reserves/dont have god yet.

EDIT- i ran out of space on this post. so some gods sheets are 2 posts down. Thanks all!
Worlds live. Worlds die. Whether by the hands of gods or in the maws of unimaginable beasts, all of creation is brought into being and destroyed, time after time after time. It is a long, winding, torturous process, and there is no escaping it.
Worlds live and die. There's no escaping this. The best anyone can hope for, no matter how weak or strong, is that they'll be able to make a world that fits their desires.
What kind of world would you make?
]Mythicality
You have a blank canvas. An infinite world without light, without sound, without colour. In essence, it lacks anything that would make it a world. Not just any blank canvas, but the emptiest, simplest fabric possible upon which to paint.
You have a blank canvas and you have the power to change it. What would you do?
This is Mythicality, a godgame with inspiration taken from various sources. In short, in a godgame you play as someone or something with a large amount of power over the world ? hence the 'god' part of the name. In this game you literally play as gods, or beings on that level of power at any rate.
The premise of this game is that the characters ? immensely powerful entities ? begin in a blank, empty universe. Whether they've just been created, or have been transported there from another time or place is up to you. The characters then create the world and its people however they wish, over a series of rounds called 'ages'. Each age is a century, but your characters will feel it as being much shorter. Out-of-character, it'll be approximately a week per age. Players can work together or against each other, or separately if they want. Not only that, but the universe likely isn't as empty as it first seems...
For now this topic is for signups. Information on character creation and the general game system is below. I'm looking for 6-7 players to start the game with. Signups will work in the following way: the thread will be left open for a period of time to let people post character ideas. I Characters that follow themes throughout the character are preferred over those that have convenient stats or that seem jumbled. Unconventional characters or new takes on old ideas are preferred too.
Character Creation
Atamok wanders his dead, decaying world. The foundations of reality are breaking down ? the Firmament he created is fraying. Soon there will be nothing left.
Another explosion rocks Mid's titanic form. Her utterly lawful creations have turned on her, but she will face her death with stoic dignity.
The Warden trembles in the cold ruins of her civilisation as the ancient war machines return to her, ready to receive their final command.
The Arkalia swoop and circle around their last prey. When it is gone they will only have each other to devour, and finally a single beast will remain.
Your character could be a god, a primordeal beast, a concept, a hero or villain or some other entity entirely. To encompass this wide range of types of character I'll be using a relatively simple game system which will be expanded upon below. For now, if you want to make a character these are the things you'll need to decide on:
Name: your character's name or title, given by themselves or another.
Image: if possible, an image that closely represents your character.
Description: describe your character's body, possible clothes, any items they possess.
Personality: Important Note: your character must possess consciousness on at least a human level, and be willing to interact with others in ways that don't involve violence.
Backstory: either an origin, a story from your character's past, a full recount of their existence or a brief scene giving an idea of what they're like. Basically an explanation of why they exist or act the way they do.
Stats: stats! Here's where things get a little bit more complicated. In this game there are several stats:
Aspects ? these are parts of reality (or unreality) that your character has control over. Elements, emotions, locations, creatures, rituals, processes, forces, etc. etc. etc.. Each character has a single Ultimate Aspect, representing that which they have ultimate power over, and can have a number of Minor ones to.
Traits ? qualities of your character's existence. Could be physical (e.g. Ice Titan) or auras/effects (e.g. Inspiring)
Personae ? how your character presents themselves. Could be a job title (e.g. The Merchant), a more general term (e.g. The Warrior) or something esoteric (e.g. The Devourer). A
Flaws ? the flipside of their physical body, personality, backstory or stats, or something different. Could be something uncontrolled (e.g. Rage), something physical (e.g. Blindness) or self-inflicted or imposed (e.g. Honour). Can be Major or Minor.
Nemesis: the last thing is an enemy for your character. Their opposite number. Whatever form this takes is up to you, but they must be still alive/active and ideally they shouldn't have any immediate knowledge of your whereabouts. Just give their name and a general description of their motivations and powers ? I'll create a charactersheet myself at the same level as the player characters. Note that it's fine for a character to have an Aspect even when a Nemesis would probably have the same thing as an Ultimate Aspect, and vice versa.
Example character:
Name: Earthmother Jurut
Description: Jurut typically takes the form of a naked woman, at different times wisened and youthful, composed of grey and black stone. Veins of seemingly-valuable materials are located where her actual blood vessels should be. If someone inspected them closely, they would notice that the metal and crystal deposits are entirely worthless. Depending on the role she's playing, Jurut may or may not be wearing a funerary veil over her face.
Personality: the Earthmother is typically grim and resentful, particularly of anything that can actively create life. She is also protective of that which she does create. She lets wild things grow freely and takes delight in watching them.
Backstory: the goddess once gave birth to a magnificent world ? wild, passionate and vibrant. However, that all came with a price. It was untameable, and her fellow gods and goddesses resented her for this. The other divinities, being greedy, were frustrated and bitter. They changed her world. They turned it against her. Cities were erected. Pockets of unnatural law were created. The earth was mined, the beasts were culled, the energy and life drained.
She fought back, as any mother would. Great legions of beasts were raised. The ground was torn asunder by the earth's fury. Machinery, civilisation and magic fell to her fury. The damage was too great, however, both self-inflicted in her rage and caused by her enemies. The land became barren and all that remained of the wild creatures were bones and ash. Deities lay dead at her feet, but something had died inside her too.
Stats: Ultimate Aspect ? Earth ? Jurut is the master of rock and stone, soil and sand. Despite her debilitating injury she still has power over the earth's fertility too.
Aspect ? Beast ? she's called Earthmother for a reason ? wild beasts answer to her call, for she is their loving parent.
Aspect ? Infertility ? the war she fought brought on a terrible, divine infertility at the core of her being. She can stop life with a touch or drain the potential out of a place.
Trait ? Cosmic Womb ? a nexus of one kind of fertility, life and sheer energy of one sort or another. This can be used to improve creations, with unfortunate side-effects.
Persona ? The Mother ? Jurut's ferocity in defense of life she creates is taken to the extreme. She will fight down to the last to protect such things. She's also skilled in the creation of many things, mostly living but also non-living.
Flaw ? Abominable Creations ? her divine womb, the focus of her creation, is corrupted beyond all her repairs. Any life it creates is equally corrupted, dead, infertile, diseased or horrifying.
Nemesis: Tuurghan, immortal blacksmith. A creation of one of her now-dead foes, this creature manned a divine forge that embodied everything Jurut hates ? its industrial capacity destroying her world, its production demanding the constant excavation of resources, its defense requiring lawful, complex machinery and its purpose to aid in the upkeep of civilisation. Tuurghan and his unquenchable desire for labour outlasted his maker, but eternity will do terrible things to the mind, even one created to be immortal...
Resources and Actions
The Omnitect snaps his fingers and the machine lurches forwards, cutting a path through the worlds he's built.
Your characters are extraordinarily powerful, but to change the world at their whims they'll need effort and energy, and there's always the possibility of failure. There are two resources in the game: Substance, sheer divine energy used for natural/physical acts, and Essence, conceptual energy used for magical/conceptual acts. At the beginning of each age you'll receive Substance and Essence according to the state of the world in the previous age ? the more worshippers and genuine believers your character had in general, the more Substance and the more the concepts they embody are represented in the world, the more Essence. However, you can have a maximum of number Substance and Essence combined at a time (Depending on your god and power level), so if you get more than that you'll have to discard some immediately.
Substance and Essence (from here S and E) are spent on any divine/unreal/impossible actions you perform. The greater the magnitude/effect, the more you need to spend.. When you do an action there's also the possibility of getting a secondary success or failure, independent of whether you actually succeed or fail.
Multiple players can help with the same action and the cost won't increase. Multiple players can also contribute S/E to an action to spread the cost. Actions can also be performed over periods of time if you want to spread out the cost. The general list for action costs is below:
0S/E ? mundane actions, o
1S/E ? forming a racial link with a species you create (Essence only), teleporting somewhere (Substance only)
5S/E ? , imbuing something with divine power
6S/E ? imbuing something living with divine power
(other actions will be priced apon request)
Divinity and Life
Harut puts down his chisel as his creation comes to life. He steps back and appraises the former statue. It's be a steed fit for a god, even if it will be short-lived in the times ahead.
Imbuing something living or non-living with divine power basically gives it or them a minor aspect, trait or persona and, in the case of living things, a flaw. These actions are for making divine items, locations, auras and so on, as well as demigods, great heroes and mythical beasts. In addition to gaining a flaw, the latter group can also be used to store 2S/E per age and can use this on divine-scale actions. You can imbue the same thing multiple times with either the same or different stats. Important Note: you don't have to use these actions on pre-existing objects or creatures ? no-cost actions allow you to make whatever mundane framework you need. Making an enchanted sword? Create a normal one for free and imbue it in the same action, for example.
Life is a slightly different matter. To create a general ecosystem you use the above list (i.e. more S/E gives you a bigger ecosystem with a bigger limit on creature size).
Conflict
Emptiness roams the church. Silence guards its halls. In a flash it floods with seawater ? then a harsh wind blows in, carrying the desert with it. And so it goes, back and forth between raging gods.
Conflict occurs when two or more players perform actions that have contradictory results. For example, two players trying to take an item that there's only one of, or one player trying to resist the action of another (the god of peace trying to stop the god of war from inspiring war, for example). In the former case, the two players would describe their actions and weigh them against one another. giving creedance to powers and the like to see who wins.
Combat
The Drowned Colossus pays little heed as cannonballs sink into its soft, rotting flesh, pausing only to bat the puny ships of the mortals out of the way. A god had created the mindless beast for one reason only ? search and destroy.
Combat comes in two flavours: single (or close to it, e.g. 2v1, 3v2) and mass (armies and so on). Single combat is relatively simple ? players involved take it in turns to attack and defend.they describe their attacks, and i decide who wins. Instead of attacking or defending you can also perform other actions ? calling in allies, retreating or spending S/E to do a short-term action as a stronger attack or defense (or to provide some other effect). This continues until only one player is left in the fight, at which point that player may do as they like with any defeated parties.
Mass combat works in much the same way with one exceptions: 1) Before each round each involved player may privately send me a brief set of tactics to use for that round. Superior tactics will provide a bonus.
Hidden Actions
In the deepest recesses of the universe, both dark and light forces were at work - unseen by anyone, unheard by anyone, yet soon to be felt by all.
In addition to posting in the thread you can perform actions secretly by PMing me. If suitable, I'll put up the results of the action in-thread. If not, the action and its results will remain hidden until such a time as it would be fitting to reveal them. However, some characters may be able to detect hidden actions as they occur, and if a hidden action would trip someone else's senses I'll roll to see whether they pick up on it. If so, information will either be posted in the thread or sent to them privately.

Name: Wolf Elder Shibu
Description: Few entities, both mortal and god, have seen Shibu. Some claim that he takes the form of a black wolf with blue eyes. Others claim he is a white wolf with green eyes. In reality, he can change colors to hide. He has several scars on him from the first living mortals, who lived when his powers weren't evolved fully. His existence relies on that fear still exists, so to strengthen his powers, he never stops delivering horror to those who stand against him.
Ultimate Aspect: Fear - Shibu controls the fear of all creatures in the world.
Aspect: Nightmares - With the power of fear he can walk into the mind of sleeping entities and trap them in their own fear. Only the strong of mind can escape.
Aspect: Shadow wolves - He can summon shadows of himself that, while not as powerful as himself, remain strong enough to protect him. They have no power to intimidate, but they have the power to attack.
Aspect: Transparency - If close to defeat, Shibu can go transparent and disappear into his surroundings, invisible to the naked eye.
Trait - Where Shibu goes, he leaves a trail of coldness and darkness to wherever he goes. The trees will wither and the plants will die if he stays for too long.
Persona: The Unmerciful - Shibu leaves no mercy to the living, except for the few he trusts. The ones he do trust, he vows to protect.
Flaw: Weak Body - While Shibu has strong powers over the minds of the living, he isn't strong in real life combat.
Nemesis:The Elders. Not fully god, nor fully human, The Elders are beings in human form, who can live for ages and never die. They have seen the true form of Shibu in the very beginning of mortal existence, and thereby knows that he is weak at the core, and can be defeated. Few believe them, but those who do form allegiances to hunt him. They pose no threat themselves, but their preaching raises the threat of Shibu losing power over the mortals fear of him. His existence fades, and the mortals will start hunting...

Name: Mek, the Engine
Description: The entity known as Mek is a being of conscious energy-- his true form is that of a raging, nebulous storm of pure force. In order to contain his furious presence Mek crafts and inhabits mechanical husk-bodies wrought from a metal alloy forged in the intense heat of his own pulsing core.
Personality: Referred to by his followers as "The Engine", Mek allows mortals to utilize his vast energies for the purpose of building and creating. He is, in fact, obsessed with creativity and aesthetics, and desires to fix flaws in mechanical efficiency and artistic beauty wherever they exist. Mek's greatest sorrow is that he is incapable of creating life and living creatures, which he tends to regard as inherently flawed in their design (as are most things not created by he himself). His temple, which also serves as a conduit for harnessing his immense power, is surrounded by countless wandering mechanical automatons-- clockwork golems crafted by Mek in his attempts to design a perfect creature. His inability to artificially create free will dooms them as soulless wanderers.
Backstory: Spawned from a clash of massive creation-energies, Mek came into existence as an insane, formless cataclysm, doomed to wander the cosmos without an outlet for his unlimited power. Time passed, and as the consciousness of the entity became more stable, it began to recognize the beautiful patterns of creation and existence, and decided that he desired to create as well.
Stats:
Ultimate Aspect- Energy. Mek himself is a bottomless well of energy in the form of pure force-- essentially ultra-condensed particles of kinetic energy. If directed at a target and unleashed, the potential for destruction is immense-- yet Mek is not a destroyer but a creator, and the ambient energies of his presence are able to be harnessed and utilized as a power-source.
Aspect - Mechanist. Revered as a patron of inventors and gadgeteers, Mek himself is capable of forging and assembling technologies far more intricate and functional than could be wrought by mortal hands.
Aspect - Formless. Mek appears as an essentially formless cloud of bright blue light. He is able to implant his consciousness into anything mechanical (nothing living) and manipulate that form as if it were his own body. Most machines are incapable of holding his presence for long unless they were forged out of a special alloy by Mek himself.
Trait - Kinetic Barrier. By reversing his polarity, Mek is able to produce an immensely powerful stasis shield to protect himself and his temple. Worthy followers of Mek are granted a sacred device known a Conduit-- a pendant which contains a fragment of Mek's special alloy, charged with his primal energy. The device is capable of producing a small kinetic barrier around the wearer by reversing the polarity of the energy fragment.
Persona - The Aesthete. Mek is highly concerned with efficiency and craftsmanship. He is even-tempered and essentially "neutral" except when it comes to the destruction of his creations or things that seem meaningless or counter-productive.
Flaw - Obsessed. Mek's greatest goal is to design a perfect creature with a consciousness and free will. Since he is unable to create living things, this goal may be impossible to achieve-- yet the pursuit of it absorbs him constantly.
Flaw - Unstable. As an energy-being, Mek is susceptible to certain other energies-- negative forces which could, if directed into a collision with Mek's energy, destabilize his consciousness and produce unpredictable and catastrophic results.
Nemesis- Blex, the Heinous. His form is that of a colossal slug-- a reeking, corpse-addled blob with two lazy, bloodshot eyestalks. This creature is one of pure gluttony-- it corrodes and digests anything it encounters and secretes a foul slime in its wake, from which grotesque and abominable demon-maggots and acid-spitting flies spawn.

Name: KanTen
Description: KanTen is, essentially, a floating island. It's 'body' is comprised of circular areas of land linked together by bridges; at the moment it has only two, but he may gain more as it's powers grow. The front island, Kan, is a mile in diameter, boasting a small hill, some woodlands and a lake. The second section, Ten, is tree miles in diameter, with a mountain, dense forests and a winding river that leads across the bridge to the front lake. The islands travel at no more than a few miles per day, but can reach impressive speeds if KanTen exerts his powers
Personality: With the mindset of mountains, KanTen is incredibly patient and is quite capable of planning across centuries. It views the humans who live upon it as parts of a whole, and it has to make an effort to reach speeds of thought at which it can deal with individuals. With such monumental patience comes great tolerance and slow anger; there is little that can draw KanTen to rage aside from direct violence, and even this can often be shrugged off; it takes a great deal to wound an island
Backstory: No one knows exactly how old Kanten is, or how it came to be; even the island itself does not know. According to it's accounts, it was not till it gained it's first few human settlers that it gained full awareness; it suspects that it was it's efforts to communicate with it's passengers that caused it to develop true sentience, at least on a scale measured in years rather than centuries. That was, however, thousands of years ago; as it's humans advance so too does the intelligence of the island. The bond seemsto extend to moods also; for the inhabitants of KanTen calm, relaxed and patient, but when the mood of the population changes, so too does that of the island, effecting the weather, movements and events
Aspects: The Island: Being a god and a island, KanTen naturally has most power over it's own physicalProxy-Connection: keep-alive

anifestation. It's power is most focused near to itself, and can extend over any realm of power, though only when relating to the island or the near area. This is it's ultimate aspect
Weather: KanTen has power over the weather, though it becomes less pronounced over distance.
Self sufficiency: KanTen is the embodiment of self contained independence, for his followers need nothing outside his bounds. He grows more powerful as people in general fend for themselves and rely on others less.
Traits: Physically Present: For his followers, and even those of his rivals, KanTen is a physical reality, and his powers are obvious; both unforgettable to his own and undeniable to his malefactors. In matters of faith, KanTe has the edge, for his own will not readily abandon the very land on which they live, and his foes cannot call him false
Personae: The Island
Flaws: Slow of Thought: KanTen is not one for speed; his decisions take great lengths of time to make and by normal standards he is often inactive. Against faster foes he will react slowly and seemingly sluggishly, but don't let that deceive you, for when he finally moves he does so with great power
Nemesis: Drekthar, the Demon of the Depths. A being who resides in the cracks in the world, calling his followers to live beneath the ground and shelter from the light. He takes KanTen's flight and freedom as a personal insult, and desires it's fall. KanTen, in return, fears Drekthar's touch,

Name: Maverick the Abomination
Image:
Symbol:
Description: A Human shaped being. He has no Features what so ever, and his Form seems to be completely Black. With Stars glittering inside. When his Trait is Active, a Collection of Brightly Colored Energy flows around him.
Personality: Maverick is the Collective Feelings of Hope, Change, Ambition, Control, and Schemes. Of an Entire Galaxy. He has consumed the Souls of 59 Gods. and He Consumed the Souls of a single Innocent Schemer. This all evens out to the Normal emotional range of a normal Person. Basically, his personality are the first 4, and Schemes is his Main Personality Trait. Also, the 59 Gods were also Proud, which means that Pride is noticeable as well.
Backstory: Maverick is not a God, or a Demon. It was born when, in another Galaxy, there was a Pantheon of Gods. These Gods numbered in the Dozens. In turn, each God ruled over a single world where their aspect ruled supreme. Some of them genuinely cared for their Followers while others.....less so. However, among them, they all had one thing in common. They had no God of Ambition. Of Change. Of Schemes. of Hope and of Control. Each of these Gods have passed on long ago, to where, no one knows, but that is not important to the story. Now in that Galaxy, each God was strengthened when Mortals did these thins related to their Domain. The God of Invention required only that his people Invent, anything no matter how Crude, Brilliant, Good, or Evil, would be accepted. The same with a God of Love. or Of Sex. or Of Dreams.
However there was no supreme Being to hold onto these lost 5. The Gods that were interested in such power couldn't even touch it. So these Lumps of Power grew. and Grew. and Grew. Until the Gods themselves decided to seal the 5 Powers. Their God of Stability imprisoned these Lumps of Power in a single location, within their Galaxy, where his World would watch over it for all eternity. He miscalculated. These Powers, which had grown unimpeded for Millennia, combined with each other. Turning into a single mass of Energy. At the same time, the Gods were getting restless. They had found the Limits of what One World could give them, and they wanted more. They wanted to change the Universe into their Image, hating the current one. They Schemed behind the backs of their Friends, Family, Comrades so as to do so. They did all these with Hope in their heart, Hope that they would Win, that they Would make a Better Universe, that they would be king. Lastly, they sought control, to Control the Hundred Worlds. To Control the Galaxy.
It is unclear if the Lump of Energy had planned for it to be so, or if, when imprisoned, the Energy started to affect the Gods. Whatever the result, the Conflict was Inevitable. The Gods warred with each other. A Brutal, terrifying Struggle that spread Horror across the Galaxy. In the World of Stability, they felt the Coming Horror. So one Man, a Good, Kind, but ultimately HUMAN Man, sought to escape the Storm marching their way. He opened the Gates, in a bid for the 5 Powers, who by this point was stronger than any one God, to help him. He believed that It was intelligent, that It was Merciful, that It was wrong for it to be imprisoned. He was wrong. The 5 Powers had felt the Horror from across the Galaxy. A Horror brought upon by Ambition, Change, Schemes, Hope, and Control. So it fed upon that as well. It learned the Evil both God and Man could Inflict upon each other. At the same Time, It felt the Pain of the Inflicted as well. It knew MUCH. However, the strange, being in front of it stank of none of it. It dod not Inflict. It did not Suffer. It did not Scheme, or Hope, or Change, or anything else the Power could Identify. It was simply......a Man. It was curious, so It asked him a Question. "Why are You Here?" it Said. The man Replied "I Plan to Survive." The Abomination took the Man's Soul Apart, and his Scheme, or what the Abomination considered as Scheme, became the Primary Facet of It's Personality. The One thing the Abomination did not have was Intelligence. Something to Guide It into Action. The Man supplied that as well. The Abomination waited. Then, after 500 years, it broke free.
By this Time, the Gods had wiped themselves out to half of their Original Number. The Survivors sensed this New Power, and Feared. The Abomination summoned the 5 Emotions within all the Gods ,even the Dead God who were killed by their Fellows , and consumed them. Along with It's own Power, it brought along a piece of the Gods' Souls. For the Living, they felt a part of themselves was lost forever. For the Dead.....there Souls could Never be found ever again. The Gods attempted to hunt Down the Abomination, they managed to find him in a corner of the Galaxy, wishing to escape. Before it Could say anything, The Gods fought it. Attempting to Kill It. The Abomination, calling itself Maverick because of this Incident, fought back. The Galaxy screamed for Months as the Battle Raged the Worlds trembled and Died form the Massive struggle. All the Mortals eventually Died, their Fragile Souls ripped into Pieces by the Struggle. Eventually, It Stopped. The Gods returned, in Defeat. Half their Number dead, and the Abomination having escaped their Grasp. Floating among the Stars.
Ultimate Aspect: Schemes. He can create a Scheme and have the Foresight to predict how it would go without Divine Interference. However, if he knows that A God will interfere, the God will be put into the scenario as well.
Lesser Aspects: Hunger. He consumes the Souls of Gods and Mortals. Each Soul being absorbed increases his Power.
Traits: Aura of Unreality. Being from another Universe, Maverick oozes a sense of Utter Wrongness to the Inhabitants of another Universe. The Gods in his Presence will find him Strange and Unusual. Mortals turn into Maverick's Slaves. No Drive, No Purpose. Only following Maverick's Will. Maverick normally keeps this under wraps as the Mortals lose EVERYTHING that Maverick Values, the 5 Aspects, and he considers it a Necessary Evil. The Gods can still sense it though.
Personae: The Wanderer. He wants to find a Purpose to his Life, so he consumes everything he finds in an attempt to find it. and There are Many Universes. All Maverick has to do is be patient.
Flaws: Currently, Maverick's weakness is his Pride. Or more accurately, the Pride of 59 Gods. Another Weakness is his Hunger. In Maverick's universe, each soul had a purpose. Each God had a Duty. Maverick is neither. So he consumes Gods and Souls in an attempt to find Purpose. Not that he can't stop mind you, just that he is lost. He does not know what he can do. Hell, even finding purpose in the little things of life will make him happy.
Note However, he does not need to consume souls to keep him Alive. He thrives on his 5 Aspects. The Souls' 5 Aspects joining Maverick's Power, and memory joining his Intellect, the soul Being consumed is a side effect. He DOES get stronger with each consumption, but if He suddenly decides to not Consume anymore, he will still Live.
Lastly, because he is not a God, he Cannot Create. Which means that he is more of a Malignant Virus than a Creator really. However, he CAN twist the Power already there into what he wills. So, if there are 10 souls in a given area, he Can twist them into a Guardian with Impressive Power, but will still lack all but ONE Aspect that Maverick desires. He may choose which one that will be.
Nemesis: Repentance. Unlike the Dead Gods who were slain during the Civil War, the Gods slain by Maverick still had their Souls. The Souls and the Gods convened on what to do next. Each and Every God there voted Unanimously to Repent for the Crime of allowing Maverick to Roam Free. So, the Gods still Alive killed themselves. The God of Repentance was the only Exception. The Souls rushed into his Form, and the God of Repentance was gone. His Individuality consumed into a Collective with one Purpose. To Repent for their Crime. So they Hunt Maverick down. No matter the Cost to themselves, so the Monster will Die. The Only thing that will stop them is Maverick's Death, for they know that no matter how many people die, at least they will not be consumed by the Abomination.
FINAL NOTE: The Gods he has devoured are lesser Gods, which explains why there are so many in the first place. This basically means his power Level is the same as the others. Just that he schemes are beyond Mortal, and sometimes even Divine, Comprehension.
