dozens of men came to the edge of the crater, and began to settle there. They now lived there for the heat and their now god. 3 villages sprung up around the massive crater, and hundreds of people lived there, making the best out of the harsh climate. They hunted the animals of the forest, and killing the fish and seals in the sea.HSIAMetalKing said:The God of Energy descended upon Anor, his presence heralded by thunderclouds and static flashes. He felt that he was not alone on this world-- indeed, as Mek analyzed the ebb and flow of the planet's energies he recognized several powerful signatures. He would claim a land away from them all-- the storm rolled across the sky and settled at the southernmost point on the globe. He found the amplitude of Anor's magnetism quite comforting and sensed that the mineral wealth beneath the frozen soil was vast and untapped, and so determined to make this place his domain.
Below, the hardy snow-people of the southern pole observed a miraculous display-- the dark, cloudy firmament danced with crackling energy. Arcs of white lightning appeared like fissures in the dome of reality, and it seemed that, at the eye of this swirling storm, a blue star was forming. The star bulged and coalesced, drawing the lightning into its core. With a final, thunderous clap the clouds dispersed-- the orb of energy fell and struck the ground, plowing deep through layers of ice and rock and shaking the land, causing mountains to crumble. For a brief time there was chaos-- the isolated and sparsely populated villages in the deep mountains suffered avalanches and rock slides, yet when the land settled and the people calmed there was stillness and silence.
Mek was pleased-- he sat now at the heart of a great crater, floating above a lake of molten minerals, rocks and metals. Dimly, he was aware that tiny lifeforms were gathering around his Great Forge-- the curious native mortals who dwelt in the frozen mountains.
"Followers..." considered the God of Energy. He was not concerned with controlling or subjugating this population, but thought that a mutually beneficial relationship could be established. "They are few who survive in this harsh land... yet their wills must be strong. When many of them have gathered, I will raise a temple-- a tower to serve as a battery for my latent energies. I will begin a revolution for these cold, desperate people." For the moment, however, Mek rested and waited.
a small number begin to experiment with taking the molten metals of the crater and fashioning them into weapons and tools.
A great mason came about in the Norn, as these villagers called them selves, he began to experiment with stone, picked from the side of mountains with these new metal tools, and soon your villages are made of stone, with walls around them.
But all is not well, many of the tribesmen of the most southern villages reject you as a deamon. the tribesmen and villages that worship you become outcasts, and there is some raiding between these two groups.
