"Return these people? Why? So that you may strike back at me? There must be something you're willing to offer me if I am to give up such an advantage"

"Why would I strike back at this moment in time I'm moving the people to safer location...

I don't want power God I want control aslong as this world is under control I'm happy with that.

These people deserve to be with there familes so if you release them then I and my people will fight under you flag."

Hices pondered this for a moment. More help would always be useful. But how could a being who surrenders so easily then comes begging for mercy be of any use to one such as himself. He glared back at the being. You retreat when things look bad, you grovel at my feet in the hopes I show you mercy and return you your people. Now tell me, what use would I have for someone like that? Then you speak of control. That you want control, fighting for me would not be putting you in control. I would be the one pulling the strings. Can you accept that fact?"
Hices' glare turned to a grin. "But perhaps we can work something out. Since you spoke of control you've given me an idea. I will return you're people and accept you're offer of aid providing you give me something I can use to control you in the event you decide this truce is no longer of value to you. That seems more fair to me at least. Perhaps that way you will be useful."

The Muse was lost in thought, running over the conversation with Hices just gone and her pact made with him, brow furrowed. She was not sure she had made the right decision now, the resurrected rabbit had sounded very wrong to her exceptional ears and the effect the god had on is surroundings, and even her, was deeply disturbing. However he offered protection for her Satyrs from the humans and he may be useful in combating The Hush, even though he may not help much. Still, his hungry tone and sickening presence continued to haunt the being as she arrived back with her people, watching to see what they had been doing.

the satyrs had set up a small town in on of the massive trees on the side of the vally. there were about 200 hundred of them in this new settlement.

Brunt looks around the base of the banits in Dommius control

"Your forces are surly enough for you to keep control over me...

When I say I like control that doesn't mean I need to be the one controlling it."

Brunt continued to look around,

"This is not me groveling for mercy either this is a clever surrender, Sure I could of sent the men in but I knew they wouldn't of stood a chance against your forces and I have grown to the people and wish to teach them and make them my own fighting force.

However I do not care for victory so I will be willing to fight under anyones banner."

"No they aren't. You know that to. Most of the men within these walls were once yours. They are simply waiting to be killed or tortured by me and my men. Then brought back under my will. So how about this. I can give... Some of your people back and the rest stay here, but you still fight for me, and you will come to my aid when I request it. If you truly care for your people you can see that this is a better deal then nothing at all."

Sorry for being gone so long, and there seems to be much happening. Can anyone give me the short story on this, or do I have to read through everything?

Heres the main gist of it, Brunt is making a mass exodus through the woods and into the dessert while FancifulFanta is making a giant group of satyrs pretty close to us, meanwhile Domnius is making deals with just about everyone trying to come out on top, Then Walk has his people split into two diffrent groups of religion while I was starting to do something but for the life of me cant remember it.

That just about fills up what happened in your absence, with maybe a bit or two left out.

Shibu had been slow. He saw the world evolve while his empire was merely a brick of what he intended to create. He had to hurry. What had happened in his absence? Satyrs had appeared, religions had formed. All he had was a few families of werewolves having bred. He couldn't let fear go away. He used an emergency resort.

He howled in the light of the full moon, and called for all his shadow wolves. Hundreds of shadows leaping through the woods of which his werewolves had started to breed. Their mission was simple. Scare the satyrs. Kill one or two, but only to show what he's capable of. And he sent his werewolves out to attack the tribe from which they came.

Seems a bit blunt, but this is all I can think of to catch up.

With a howl, the wolves descend on the valley. they kill a dozen satyers on a small farm, and at another, the werewolves attack. When they attack these new creatures. Something happens, a new race comes about. Beast men, Satyrs who have bitten by werewolves, and have become something new. Something scary.

After spending several weeks dormant in his molten cradle, Mek decided that it was time to establish a base-of-operations fit for his Godly purposes. The metals which swirled beneath him bubbled with anticipation as He envisioned his creation-- a tower, but more than simply that. It would be his temple as well as a harness for his body, allowing the God to house his presence within it.

The villages surrounding the Great Forge quickly took notice as blue light began pulsing brightly and rapidly from its depths. Before their eyes a column of glowing red goo-- viscous molten metal-- began ascending from the crater. It writhed and shuddered like a living thing as Mek's energy manipulated its physical structure; his blue glow melded with the radiant red heat. Gradually, the structure became defined-- the supple alloy cooled and became rigid. It was a great pillar rising from the core of the Forge, its trunk etched with many thousands of perfect horizontal grooves. The head of the pillar was a wide metal bulb, like the head of a scepter.

Pleased with his invention, Mek decided to make himself at home-- he flew his consciousness into the huge device and allowed his energy to flow through the coiled conductors and found the spiral structure to be quite suitable. His ambient power crackled throughout the tower and charged the air around the crater with the smell of thunderstorms.

It's basically a giant Tesla Coil:

.

Once the villagers have studied the conduit and developed a vague notion of the nature of electricity, they will be able to harness the power of the tower using conductors.

Ooo you *****, lol.
The Muse heard what happened with clenched fists and gritted teeth, her nails dung into her skin until what could be approximated to be her equivalent of blood dripped onto the ground from the wounds. The wolves and wolf men attacked her Satyrs for no reason, killing some and turning others into brutish beast men and while the creation of a new creature normally brought her excitement in this case it only infuriated her, her people had been doing so well. Tears streamed from the beings eyes and with a hateful screech she decended first upon the werewolves, the music surrounding her no longer joyous but violent and bloodthirsty. The Sound let out a high pitched noise so loud it would burst the werewolves' eardrums but before she could deal with the beast men she realised that someone else was the cause. She could hear that these werewolves had been designed by another, most likely a god of some kind and considered calling Hices to her aid.

Sound decided against calling upon the dead god just this yet, hungry to confront this god and sent her people an idea: Design your own discipline or martial art to defend yourselves but do not fear, continue with your games and fun. If this god wanted to destroy the satyrs he could have done so but this seemed not to be his intention, she wanted to show the being that they would not be moved. The Muse followed any of the shadowy wolves also sent by this god that would return to their master and, having found him alone, appeared as an on-coming storm, howling at the wolf god. Shibu would sense that this was only an image but the effect was still impressive. WHY!? The storm screeched in his mind.

Shibu sensed the god's presence around him. "Your people may be innocent, and so may you. But my mission isn't to bring justice. My mission is to make sure that bravery is a tool for the foolish. For that, I need fear. I need an army. Just like you, I'm forming an empire. My own people." Shibu said no more. He leaped out from the mountain top down to the forest, and disappeared into the night, letting out a loud howl.

The Muse raced after Shibu, following his ominous tones as he attempted to disappear into the night but darkness is not a handicap of the blind. The wolf's words danced in her mind, inciting her rage to leap to new heights with countless ideas arising, all for revenge. Finally the being stopped directly in front of Shibu, blocking his path a delivered him a message. There were no words she tried to convey this time, merely an image. It was a wolf lying dead on the ground with an arrow piercing its heart, blood trickled to the ground. On the arrow there was a quaver carved into it's shaft. The Sound then sprinted away, faster than Shibu's eyes could see with a plan.

Another image was carved into Shibu's mind. But he did not fear. He had lost his fear long ago. I guess not everyone concedes to the need of fear, he thought to himself. Doesn't matter, as long as I can stand on four legs, everything will go as planned.

Well, im back now andI hope to be more active now that things have calmed down.

Lost in thought of what he witnessed The Heirophant suddenly snapped back to attention after hearing movements in the woods around him. He half saw shadowy movements and growls barely at the edge of hearing which was followed by a loud howel. Remembering the wolf like being who entered his hunters dreams to scare them off, He proceeded to hunt down the source of the noise and deal with it.
