Not Twin Peaks.
No spoilers, but Twin Peaks had a terrible ending.

Babylon 5 ended well, though.
I dunno, I thought Twin Peaks ended pretty well. You definitely did not see it coming, that was for dang sure... I agree with you about Babylon 5 though.

OT: Well, I know everyone will not agree with me on this, but I thought LOST had a pretty good ending. It wrapped up the story in a satisfying way, and did not leave any plot thread hanging like many other shows do. Might not have been what others were expecting, but I walked away satisfied.
Smearyllama demands closure!
Without it, what's the freaking point?

*Shrugs* Maybe they couldn't find an appropriate child actor in time.

The Office and Extras. Their christmas specials are fucking awesome and it was literally the best thing. Also it didn't go on to long.

Stargate SG-1, Stargate Universe, and arguably Heroes.
I'm fairly certain that Universe hasn't ended yet.

Anyway my first thought was Voyager. And Blackadder always ended great every series, not just the last. (Oh and the movie they made after that was good too)

If SG-1 had ended after season 8, you would have been right. Can't say much about Universe, as I haven't seen much more than the first few episodes, but it hasn't actually ended yet, has it? It's cancelled as far as I know, so is this some kind of sarcasm I don't get?

I really liked the ending of Cowboy Bebop. The ending of Buffy is a kind of mixed bag for me. It went out with with a big bang and I thought it was rather fitting, but on the other hand I wasn't really satisfied.

Edit: Let me join the Babylon 5 crowd.

Life on Mars.
Even if you disregard the following Ashes to Ashes series it was a pretty good self contained two seasons.

That's the British Life on Mars, not the American space ship one :p

I really liked the ending to Battlestar Galactica, a lot of people were upset with the last episode because it didn't tie up every little loose end, but I was really happy with it.

Carpica, though that was cancelled, I thought did a good job of ending all the story lines with the last episode - despite the fact that it was supposed to lead into the second season.

Deep Space Nine also had a fairly epic ending.
I thought the new BSG ended very well also. People need to realize that any story with sufficient complexity to hold interest is going to have loose ends, any attempt to wrap up every loose end in a satisfying way will result in even more loose ends that people will want wrapped up. As long as the key points of the story are taken care it can be called a complete ending.

Haven't had a chance to finish Caprica yet, my backlog keeps growing too fast ;(

The Prisoner, it was a trippy 1970's spy show that was just fuckn wierd, it was only one season and the last episode was one of the strangest ever. Can't complain though, if you watched the entire series then the finale was the only way to end it.
Uh...

There's a remake - there's also the finale in TPB.

And McGoohan endorses it.

Dragonball Z ended just as it should have. There was little else for Goku to fight to protect the Earth, and Uub being the reincarnation of Majin Buu, he saw a future ally in training him to fight for good. The way he left his friends and family behind however, was a bit harsh.

[small]Don't you dare tell me about GT either.

It. didn't. happen.[/small]

Most would probably disagree with me, but I struggle to think of a truly better ending to Yu Yu Hakusho than was presented.
