Yeah, there's way too many people on the Internet these days. No matter where I want to register, all nicknames I want are already taken. For instance, I ended up with this Xbox LIVE gamertag (Antiparticle) after the first 20 or so names I tried were all already taken! And like you, I'm not talking common names, but names like "Mycroft" (Sherlock Holmes's brother) or "DiracDelta" (the name of a mathematical function). Yes, those were taken! I mean, for fuck's sake. It's getting ridiculous.
