Mine's named Igor. Whenever it does something it shouldn't, I can rant in my best "Mad Scientist" voice about his incompetence. And, in extreme cases, propose a little refitting of the cooling devices with parts of an old toaster. Works wonders.

I am a firm believer in naming hardware

First PC was named Genesis
Second was named Rosie - because it was a gargantuan cased Dell that even though it was old and falling apart it was still an upgrade.

Thirdly and my current prime desktop and my very first build is called Venom due to the case I chose [link]http://www.newegg.com/Product/ImageGallery.aspx?CurImage=11-138-066-01.jpg&Image=11-138-066-01.jpg%2c11-138-066-02.jpg%2c11-138-066-07.jpg%2c11-138-066-08.jpg%2c11-138-066-09.jpg%2c11-138-066-10.jpg%2c11-138-066-11.jpg%2c11-138-066-06.jpg&S7ImageFlag=0&WaterMark=1&Item=N82E16811138066&Depa=0&Description=DYNAPOWER%20USA%20Blackwidow%20CS-BW41602%20Black%200.8mm%20SECC%20Steel%20ATX%20Mid%20Tower%20Computer%20Case[/link]

I named a PC I rebuilt to be used specifically for our living room tv as Morgana

I think its weird that Ill thru the trouble of naming them, but i cant be bothered to name them thematically, but oh well, i go with what fits.

Fred is my dead laptop,
Sophie is my netbook,
and my desktop is called El Luchador.

All of them are either inside jokes or just for giggles.

My computer is named Betty, and it's like a grandma. It's always there for you when you need it, and sometimes it shits in it's pants.
:O YOU NINJA...my computer is named Betty....but only because she has flames and if this was 1970 she would be a caddie with flames on it....she is a monster...12 gigs of ram TO DO WHATEVER I WANT
Mine has a mighty 2gb and has been running for over 10 years! I replaced the insides on several occasions but it can only take you so far.

I have a new one but am having troubles adapting to windows 7...
revert it back to XP. 7 says it needs 2gigs to run but thats it...it NEEDS 2gigs to RUN...if you wanna do anything ekse its already holding most of the ram and graphics up. revert back to XP and chill there untill you get something like my betty....btw my betty is 50 pounds...the fatty she is, and if you go for a new one i recomend ibuypower...dont do alienware or dell or mac...all overpriced crap

He's name is Steve. After a while I read The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, which made me want to call it Deep Thought (the one with the answer to Life, the Universe and Everything), but I had already gotten so used to the name Steve by then that I just decided to keep his old name. If I ever get a Mac though, I'm definitely calling it GLaDOS.

I've been going on putting a letter and an incremental number representing which PC it is, so currently I'm on M3 (Medion PC) and K4 (Kiebel Notebook). Not too interesting, but hey, I like it.

It's named "Ali".

It's Alienware.
So, do you pronounce it "Ah-lee" as in the arabian prince, or "Ay-lee" as in "Alienware"?
