If those two trailers were the best bits, colour me unimpressed. There wasn't a single moment that even came close to being funny or dramatic, in fact the only amusing thing about it seems to be the concept. That is, the very same concept that random internet people and schoolboys have been coming up with as "hilarious" for years.

I could be wrong of course, but I'm often disappointed when watching films because I've already seen all the good bits in the trailer. I can't even imagine how poor the film would have to be to fail to live up to these two trailers...

What is this in my pocket?

Oh my, ticket to the pre-screening tour...

Only to see what the minds behind Star Wreck can do with a price-winning writer doing the scripts and actual budget and actors.

This movie looks...

Like it might actually be fun, it's got giant space ships, explosions, hot german military-fetish girls, dumb americans, over the top cheesy accents and dialogue, and lots and lots of BFG's.

Light I hope this movie comes to my theatre...

Why was the nazi at the end talking about valhalla form norse mythology?
The Nazis were really "into" Norse mythology. They thought of themselves as the descendants of the great Nordic people, and used Norse runes as symbols (the most well known being the sigel rune, used by the SS).

Anyway, I've been waiting for this movie since 2008, since they first announced it. The teasers and trailers and promo material were all nothing short of awesome. What I'm even more amazed is the fact that the movie is mostly funded by fans and looks absolutely great, judging by the latest trailer.

Other teasers are also great, especially the first one that explains how did they get to the Moon http://www.ironsky.net/site/#teaser (also, down there you have the option to demand the movie to be screened in your area).

All things considered, I can't wait!

Can't wait to see this. I can only imagine the meeting where they decided "This is what we want to make: Nazis. On the moon."

The Finish make some pretty strange and crazy films. Dead Snow for instance is a film essentially about Nazi Zombies. Rare Exports is about these guys who capture a santa-claus. This film seems like Finland's break into the international scene- it's telling by the amount of attention they focus on America. Which is...fine but it would be nicer if they wern't so America-centric, everything in cinema is. It's understandable, but i really like a bit of variety (it's why i like "foreign" films)

Regardless, wish the makers the best of luck with this film, i'll certainly be seeing it.
Dead Snow was Norwegian, not finnish. Just felt the needd to point that out. Very excited for the new movie.

Been following these guys since the Starwreck days, and I'm actually going to the Iron Sky tour in Finland to see the movie before the official release date.
