The Finish make some pretty strange and crazy films. Dead Snow for instance is a film essentially about Nazi Zombies. Rare Exports is about these guys who capture a santa-claus. This film seems like Finland's break into the international scene- it's telling by the amount of attention they focus on America. Which is...fine but it would be nicer if they wern't so America-centric, everything in cinema is. It's understandable, but i really like a bit of variety (it's why i like "foreign" films)

Regardless, wish the makers the best of luck with this film, i'll certainly be seeing it.

Exept Dead Snow, or Død Snø in the original language, is Norwegian and not Finnish.

OT: I have been waiting for this movie for almost half a year now, and I really want to see it.
Actors? Who needs known actors when we have NAZIS IN SPACE for some reason?

I'll be interested to hear how they explain how the Nazis were able to not only get to the moon in a technological era preceding the first manned space flights, but thrive on a planetoid with virtually no easily-accessible natural resources whose surface constantly exposed to lethal temperatures and high-energy cosmic radiation, and construct a vast and technologically advanced military-industrial complex on the same.

I'll also be VERY interested to hear the explanation for how SARAH PALIN BECAME PRESIDENT. Talk about science-fiction!

And I wonder how the Nazis expect to be able to conquer Earth, when even a month in low-gravity is enough to weaken a human's muscles and bones to the point where they couldn't even stand up in Earth gravity, never mind someone being born and raised in... you know what? Fuck it. This movie is going to be stupid and full of plot holes, and nobody will care except me because I'm an insufferable know-it-all.

You are absolutely right, no one will care but you. There are movies worth thinking about and there are movies like this. Just don't think about it.

Nazi's from space, awesome and impossible. Would you rather focus on the awesome or the impossible? (By the way, I'm not having a go at you, this is just my perspective)

Ahaha, this is a premise that is so over the top, that in Hollywood it would be instantly so-bad-it's-good, but this looks like it actually has a decent production value, and doesn't try to take itself too seriously (looking at you Cowboys Vs. Aliens).

don't know what you're talking about, me and all my friends absolutely loved Sucker Punch~ I guess the stylization of movies like it and Scott Pilgrim is just really polarizing to most people, so you either love it or hate it..
