These never work, not even in the movies.lilmisspotatoes said:I am currently in a long-distance relationship with a guy who is absolutely wonderful (except for the fact that, y'know, he lives about 1200 miles away).
Ergh, I'm sorry honey. *hug* I hope things work out better for you.FinalHeart95 said:*snip*
It really can. I've caught myself staring up at the sky on days when I'm off work and outside and just wishing I had someone to share the beautiful sunny day with.Duck Sandwich said:Moral of the story: even an unusually warm, beautiful day outside can feel like a waste if you have no one to spend it with.
It must be said this, guy needs like a hug or cookie or somthing :CDuck Sandwich said:I have that whole "friends are too busy to hang out, women aren't interested" situation going on, so I often find myself feeling isolated from humanity.
On Easter weekend, all of my roommates went away, and the weather was unusually nice. So I went out and drove uptown to do some shopping. As I was driving, I saw couples going for a walk, and small groups of friends hanging out. I began to feel out of place, as I was driving alone in my car, which no one but me has been inside for months.

You know, I actually hadn't considered that. There's a club-ish thing not too far from here... maybe I should go out some night and dance.Aur0ra145 said:Everyone needs human contact. But to a large degree you make your own fun. So, if you're lonely go out and have a good time. I don't know if it's the generally friendliness of where I'm from or what. But for me it's really easy to make friends and to have fun.
OT and @OP. Just because you have a boyfriend doesn't mean you can't go out and have fun. I don't see anything wrong about two-stepping with random people at the bar.
