NetherRealm Surveys Fans to Help Choose Injustice Characters

Yeah...if Powergirl doesn't win this unofficial survey, I'm gong to declare something wrong with the internet.
Static got my vote. He needs a bit more love, honestly.

If I were interested in fighting games I'd probably pick Zatanna or Dr. Fate, I'm sure you could do some interesting moves with their magic-based powers. Probably more so than most of the others.

My money would be on Powergirl winning though. Probably the most well-known of the line-up and some big 'assets' to boot.

Though I'd really like to see Black Orchid, Inque, or Creeper get the NetherRealm treatment.

How about BatMite? He could be a Shang Tsung type, shifting into different versions of Batman (Frank Miller, TAS, Rainbow Batman, Batman of Zur-En-Arrh...).

Oooh! Ooh! There's an upcoming "Masters of the Universe Vs. DC" story coming up, so how about they cut a deal with Mattel and get He-Man and Skeletor in there!

I personally voted for Static I always really enjoyed him as a character. I would also like to see Steel Ivy and Black Manta personally I think they would all be a ton of fun to play as.

If this works out in any way similar to how Skullgirls did it, most of the final cast will be young girls and a good 80% of the fanbase will be pissed.

Why would the fanbase be pissed if that is why they likely voted for :S

I was torn between Static and Zatanna, but went with Static because I felt he'd be more interesting to play as. I really expect Powergirl to win that poll, though.

I kinda still want Ra's Al Ghul and Vandal Savage as fighters, But Powergirl needs to show up with the boobwindow her new 52 design sucks a lot.

Make a Young Justice pack. Charge me 15 or 20 for it. Even 25.

But if you give me Superboy, Aqualad, Robin, Artemis, Kid Flash, Or Wolf (screw Miss Martian. She was the single worst thing in that series) and make them unique and not just reskins... I'll bring you beatdowns like you won't believe.

A facebook commentator made point that it is bothersome to see most of the Injustice Roster be of one section of the DC universe. Gotham is represented by Batman, the Joker, Harley Quinn, Night Wing, Bane, Catwoman, and now Batgirl... That's 30 percent of the cast devoted to Gotham. And I get it. Batman's popular for some reason. But really it's because of the brand being pushed.

Young Justice won an emmy and praise... but Cartoon Network nixed it to the complete surprise of everyone without an explanation. Green Lantern (although not my thing) was liked by many. Gone anyway. For another Batman series. If we were given a bit more time to actually GROW with new characters, maybe it will sell as well as the cashcow that is Batman.

I doubt they'll do it (since there are already two "ring wearers" on roster) but I'd love to see Atrocitus. No particular reason, I just think he looks really cool.

I think they now realize that they should make more than the announce 4 because people WILL buy them.

I see Power Girl being a runaway hit here with Zatanna being a possible number 2. I would vote for Blue Beetle though personally. Kind of an under-rated character but I've always had a soft spot for both Ted Kord and Jaime Reyes (I don't think Kord exists in the New 52 universe...)

I'm expecting PG to win, definitely, but yeh, Zatanna, Red Hood, and Blue Beetle are all second place picks for me -- I loved Beetle in Young Justice and Brave & The Bold, so it'd be nice to see more of him.

I actually can't blame them -that- much for pushing Batman characters since a number of them feature outside of Gotham. Riddler, Joker, Harley Quinn, Nightwing (not Night Wing), Barbara Gordon (Batgirl/Oracle), Poison Ivy, and Catwoman have all been prominently featured in non-Batman material. I'm not saying I don't want YJ -- I'd love that (although I would rather all of them be included -- unrealistic but still if we're talking complete hypotheticals).

Yeah... as controversial and questionable the window may be, still better than the dogawful New 52 design.

Also now that they've added Lobo to the character list you can see there is space for the next 3 announced characters on the left above Lobo and the same amount of empty space on the right for four more.

So my four would be Martian Manhunter, Black Canary, Red Tornado and Plastic Man. I would be super down with Zatanna, Animal Man, Swamp Thing, Blue Beetle, Booster Gold, Atrocitus, Kilowog, Etrigan, Dr Fate, Darkseid, or Hourman.

I can't pick. Ugh. Can't I just say "add all of them"?

I guess if I HAVE to pick, I'd pick Power Girl. The gamer in me, however, would LOVE to see Zatanna in the game doing her backwards-talk magic spells. That'd be a hoot to play as her and she'd be enormously enjoyable to handle.

And yet I also have a massive soft spot for Blue Beetle, and I've been a fan of Dr. Fate for as long as I can remember (though it'll either be Dr. Fate or Zatanna for the magic-user).

Swamp Thing would be great as well. He's always been a great character, and having plant-themed abilities would be enjoyable (for a lack of Poison Ivy), and the heroes REALLY could use a big, bruiser type (the villains get FOUR of them: Lex, Grundy, Doomsday, and Bane).

I'll pass on the Red hood. Make him a skin for The Joker, but we really don't need any more Bat-characters. We're good on that.
