Since I don't have a Xbox or Ps3 I never bothered playing 1 or 2 so all I can do is shrug and go back to playing minesweeper... Or fallout 3

That was confirmed to be not true. I can't find the link right now, but they said "be are definitely not interested in doing a WW2 game, we feel a virtue of the assassin's creed series is to explore generally unused time periods." The WW2 reference was only meant to express the radical scope the games could cover.

They also mentioned that they were looking into possibly the feudal Japan, or medieval europe eras.

I really do not like this "online multiplayer" business. A game like Assassin's Creed does not need multiplayer. I also hope it doesn't come out in 2010. A good game almost always requires at least two years of development time in order to be a success.

I'm not even done with AC2 yet! And this doesn't sound like a sequel, it sounds like ACII2 a la FFX-2. IT SHOULD BE DLC YOU UNWASHED CHEESY UBISOFT PRICKS!

AC3 needs to be where Desmond is finally an assassin after the events of AC2 and it concerns waging war on the pricks who capture him and have used the apple to conquer the world!

Hmmm... Really looking forward to new information about the multiplayer, and the PC version of AC 2.

You could easily pull off capture the flag and search and destroy types of games. Street race's and competitions to see who can assassinate the target first would also work quite well, but i don't think death matches or team death matches will be making an appearance

Altaïr is from the first one right? Yeah he's a bit of a wanker. Still waiting for the PC release of AC2, so I can't really comment there. The first game was fun enough though.

I you liked the first one, you'll love this.

On subject, I cannot see how they could integrate the key aspects of Assassin'S Creed 2 into a fully fuctional online community. Applauds all around if they can, but other than games of tag and races, I can't think of any other way it could work.

I know alot of people think how the hell could multiplayer work but I've imagined a game mode called VIP to be pretty cool.


In other words:
1 player or VIP and maybe 8+ players playing soldiers who must defend the VIP from other Assassins that consit of maybe 4-5 players or something.
Bit like GTA IV's multiplayer mode.

Just a thought though.

althrough etzo's ending was confusing i mean he didnt even understand it and i quote from him "what de fuck?" im not sure it might work but it does sound interesting... i just didnt see that one coming i throught they'd be finished with etzo like they did with altair then just go along and make AC3 i guess i throught wrong....

Hah, imagine if they implement big matches with CTF. Who's the biggest acrobatics maniac? Though I suppose stopping whoever has the flag might be rather tricky except if the combat is drastically different.
