Wow...Did the last paragraph actually happen or was it put in for effect?

OT: Yes. I'd stay away from it now...

Wow is that real or not?

By the way, why is dodging a dirty trick? Sounds kind of stupid

Nice story...get a blog. Thanks.
Yeah, I don't see why you need to broadcast this. Or mention that you used a guy as a hostage.

Umm... nice fake story? I don't really see the point in posting this, unless you're trying to look tough, which is pointless in itself because this is just an internet forum. And, if you're going to fake a story, at least make it sound realistic. Not:

I am pounding him on the face while he is unconscious when two of his friends drag me off of him. One of them tries to take a sucker punch on me but I elbow the dude in the eye and put him in a choke hold pulling my knife. With a hostage I safely made it out of the building and ditched him just as I got back to the car.

I don't think that I should train at this boxing gym anymore, I will have to find a new place to train.

I think he meant "hitting me while I'm on my knees" as the dirty trick....which it is. In a boxing ring, that's pretty unacceptable and unsportsmanlike.

I swing back but he starts bobbing and weaving. I am really not used to seeing this, people don't normally do this in a fight.
It's boxing... What did you expect?
What type of fighting DON'T you move from punches in?

Or alternatively, a smaller ego.

To be honest, boxing always struck me as a thuggish sport. I prefer mountain biking, or for a better comparison, kendo.

This seems quite pathetic making up stories to seem like badass, if you went to a real boxing gym you'd find friendly dedicated people who want to get fit, have fun and box. I've found the best fighters are the nicest people, while the ones who constantly big themselves up and act like a badass are usually the worst.

Its actually quite a graceful sport, with lots of it being based around movement and position rather then opposed to just hitting someone in the face (though that is part of it :) which is why many boxers take up some form of dancing, and it does require thinking especially on how your going to pace yourself against an opponent. But looking in on a fight from the outside they do look pretty brutal and thuggish.

Oh I didnt catch that bit and I know the rules of Boxing and he did say "Old school rules, only stopping at first blood". All the boxer did was take advantage off what was, teachnically, a street fight.

After the "my mother doesn't want me listening to black metal" thread, this is just striking me as somebody wanting to sound hard.

I just feel sorry for you.

Erm, I think you kind of went over-board. Ducking and weaving is a big part of boxing so it's not a dirty trick. Was it really necessary to start beating him once you've knocked him out and is unable to defend himself? The guy was at a boxing gym, stop faulting him for following the rules of boxing. And you seemed to be very antagonistic. Sure the guy was being a bit of a prick, but it deosn't call for that kind of behaviour.

Anyway, maybe you should go to a dojo, or the equivelant. I'm not familiar with Kyokushin.

I think you miss something.

This story is almost certaintly a lie, and if any of it is true, it's been highly embellished.

Because you're supposed to take hits like a true man.
Actually, if dodging was dirty, then so was kicking. And punching.
