Yeah, I don't see why you need to broadcast this. Or mention that you used a guy as a hostage.xmetatr0nx said:Nice story...get a blog. Thanks.

One of them tries to take a sucker punch on me but I elbow the dude in the eye and put him in a choke hold pulling my knife. With a hostage I safely made it out of the building and ditched him just as I got back to the car.
I don't think that I should train at this boxing gym anymore, I will have to find a new place to train.
I think he meant "hitting me while I'm on my knees" as the dirty trick....which it is. In a boxing ring, that's pretty unacceptable and unsportsmanlike.Torque669 said:By the way, why is dodging a dirty trick? Sounds kind of stupid
It's boxing... What did you expect?That_Which_Isnt said:I swing back but he starts bobbing and weaving. I am really not used to seeing this, people don't normally do this in a fight.
Do this, also. And make threads with discussion.xmetatr0nx said:Nice story...get a blog. Thanks.
Or alternatively, a smaller ego.xmetatr0nx said:Nice story...get a blog. Thanks.
Its actually quite a graceful sport, with lots of it being based around movement and position rather then opposed to just hitting someone in the face (though that is part of itWasder said:To be honest, boxing always struck me as a thuggish sport. Oh I didnt catch that bit and I know the rules of Boxing and he did say "Old school rules, only stopping at first blood". All the boxer did was take advantage off what was, teachnically, a street fight.DJShire said:I think he meant "hitting me while I'm on my knees" as the dirty trick....which it is. I think you miss something.Catchy Slogan said:Erm, I think you kind of went over-board. Ducking and weaving is a big part of boxing so it's not a dirty trick. Was it really necessary to start beating him once you've knocked him out and is unable to defend himself? The guy was at a boxing gym, stop faulting him for following the rules of boxing. And you seemed to be very antagonistic. Sure the guy was being a bit of a prick, but it deosn't call for that kind of behaviour.
Anyway, maybe you should go to a dojo, or the equivelant. I'm not familiar with Kyokushin.
