New Linkin Park Single

What are your thoughts about the single and upcoming CD? Also, do you like what's become of LP since it's clear that Hyvrid Theory and Meteora are a thing of the past and all we're left with is Minutes to Midnight?

My opinions:
New single sucks
Minutes to Midnight was a good CD, I just didn't like it
Wish LP would go back to the old stuff...
I sort of like the techno/electronic vibe LP is going for and I think they could be able to pull it off

Heh, I always referred to that song as the "botfly song".

They had some nice tracks, but all in all a normal mediocre band.

Linking Park were always a band id listen to, but never bother download. Theres something about them i dont especially like, but im not too sure what it is. Though theres one song of the Minutes to Midnight album that i LOVED, but i dont know which it was.

Anyway the new single.
Theyve clearly gone in a different direction, and i dont prefer it to their other stuff; i really dont like it.
But theres something about it that makes me think it might grow on me...i dont know.
Ill check them out in the weeks to come, maybe ill be able to get into it if it gets pumped into my head as much as their other songs have over the years -_-''.

Certainly not thier catchiest song, but it wasn't too bad. The build up in the last minute was pretty cool.

Mind you, having surgery is better than that song. I am intrigued why they put that song to the Medal of Honour trailer. Why? They always seem... I don't know, kinda anti-war, so why Linkin Park with Medal of Honour? Like, the trailer didn't make me want to go out and buy the game so I could play it with my mates and have fun working together shooting virtual soldiers. No, I felt sort of... sad and reflective. Which is fine. I don't mind having that feeling evoked in me, I just don't think that is helpful to selling war games.

I am confus. But the song in itself could very well grow on me.

Yes all their fans are 12 year olds... Way to stereotype, I like them and I am 18 who has never done any extreme sport like that, I have never smoked and met my uncle once when I was 5

It was alright, I prefered their old stuff and I hated minutes to midnight. I can't understand why people hate Linkin Park so much, at least they try and make a different sound from just metal guitar, drop tunin and double bass pedals or shitty riffs

OT: Song sounds bland as a Biro, old stuff was alright but they have never been anything special.
