I can't believe I didn't notice how well the two compliment each other. The only question is how the graphics would look.TsunamiWombat said:It could be anything. It could be a friggen DS vers-...

It's not Capcoms fault Clover's games didn't sell. It's the people's fault who always cry about innovation and never buy the stuff that truly is different. There's only so many tries a company can give their studios.ChromeAlchemist said:Clover is gone (thanks Capcom!)
Capcom made Deus Ex: Invisible Wars? I always thought Ion Storm did.buy teh haloz said:After they ballsed up Deus Ex Invisible Wars, it's a little hard to come by optimism, don't ya think?
Maybe he just means them. Ya know, the super-top-secret government agency who's primary objective is to piss-off "hardcore" gamers by dumbing-down all their favourite franchises.Gladion said:Oh yeah:Capcom made Deus Ex: Invisible Wars? Unless you own the Wii lol.Douk said:People only like this game because it was a wolf. Woulda been better if it was a samurai who talked to animals. But an Okami 2 would still be nice.
And don't call me uncultured or dumb just because I like bullets more than artistic brush strokes.
probably not great. there's a reason clover had no interest in porting it to another system.Quadtrix said:I can't believe I didn't notice how well the two compliment each other. Ahem, just make it a 2d Metroid style game.cobra_ky said:i'm glad they're not abandoning the IP. a non-clover sequel will never be as good as the original

No. Not really. Okami was a Zelda clone. Zelda is a dungeon crawler. Just like Metroid is a dungeon crawler. It's the same damn game just 2d. Aquiring new powers and artifacts to open up new ways of accessing different area's of the map?cobra_ky said:that would be a completely different game then.TsunamiWombat said:Ahem, just make it a 2d Metroid style game.cobra_ky said:i'm glad they're not abandoning the IP. a non-clover sequel will never be as good as the original

it is actually very good but you should just play shadow of the colossus 10 more times as it's my favorite ps2 game and it would make me happySpleenbag said:I never played the original as I just got a PS2 a couple weeks ago (currently playing Shadow of the Colossus and RE4 right now.) Would like to get a copy, is it really as good as people say?

Edit: Or, as has been said, it might be terrible because the original team won't be working on it. But, you know what; shut up, you're wrong, it's going to be even better than the original!
Just check your menu screen and go through to the "scroll" option, one of them tells you your task.Jumplion said:*angels singing*TsunamiWombat said:It could be anything. It could be a friggen DS vers-...

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You've given me a nerd-gasam.
I would love to finish Okami, but for whatever reason I stopped playing it mid-way through and that really pisses me off because it was such a beautiful game. I beat myself up for it every now and again for not playing it through, though it came down with "Legend of Zelda" syndrome where you're dropped in the middle of a task but you have no idea what the hell it is you're supposed to do.
