Hello Fellow Escapists. Where are the new people? I havn't seen anyone new on here for a while. If you are new, here is your chance to introduce yourself.

Depends on how you see things as new. "Every time you visit the escapist, the escapist and you will never be the same again." ... and all that semi-intellectual babble.

Also depends on the topics you post in or read I guess. Some people prefer to be in one more than the other I think.

That too. Although some people started posting furiously the moment they arrived and haven't stopped yet. Most of the 20000+ posters seemed to do that.

I'm pretty new and ZP brought me here an no other reason to be honest. I only noticed the forums even existed about a month later. To be honest I don't even know what else the site has apart from ZP and the forums....I like to stay in my comfort zones lol

I still see new people every so often. I actually see a few new people show up in the Publishers Club every now and then too, which seems a little odd. But I guess they lurk enough to want to support the site before they sign up or something.

I have. I seem to run into them in every thread. Of course I consider "Paperboys" to be new.

I think I've been hovering around the site and the forums for over a year now, just reading and watching the videos and stal... reading the forums.

I had never heard of the escapist until ZP, but I'm glad I did eventually. The articles are interesting, videos are (mostly) entertaining and the forums seem like a good place. Too bad I'm not much of a poster :/

So far the only thing that annoys me is the way too frequent failing with the words "then" and "than". I don't really know why it gets my blood boiling but goddamnit, it's not that hard. Also, some of the bans confuse me.
