New Resident Evil Plot Details Revealed

Actor Boris Kodjoe, starring in Surrogates which opens soon, has revealed some plot details on Resident Evil: Afterlife.

I play the leader of the survivors in LA. Milla Jovovich's character, Alice, is roaming the world looking for survivors and she's wound up in LA, which has been burning for three years. She comes across an LA jail surrounded be these half-dead, uhh?[zombies]. Yeah, they're those monsters, what are they called? Anyway, she comes across the jail and there's a couple of survivors and she lands on top of the roof and partners up with me to fight the guys that are coming after them. We're trying to get all of the survivors out of the jail to safety. We're starting next week, actually.

i've always liked the resident evil movies, i know they're not the same as the game and i didn't expect them to be but they are still pretty good

I didn't really like the other Resi movies, mainly because I found Alice to be quite the douche. I would have rather seen Jill Valentine, Chris Redfield or Leon Kennedy as the main character.

Completely agree, though that's the first time I've seen a girl labelled as a douche. ;D

It lost me once it got to 2, where she started getting psychic and all that. It couldn't have been that hard to follow one or two of the games!

And Leon Kennedy is awesome, so is Jill Valentine, hell they could have used Barry Burton and it would have been more interesting.

Yeah, I actually thought it was just a coincidence in name until a character had the name Jill Valentine in the 2nd one, and they had a red haired lady called Claire in the 3rd one

Well I like them anyway xD It's my favorite horror movie series, since it's actually scary at some points (Although as the movies progressed it got less scary, hey just like the games... =D)

Oh please, they just wanted an excuse to see milla naked. They saw an opportunity and they went for it. I can't say I'd have done the same thing, seeing as she doesn't really have all that much in the way of assets, but I applaud their effort.

I was sorely mispleased in the first movie when I found out that none of the characters in that movie were related to the game at all, but I still liked it. The second movie was pretty good, at least a little better than the first but overall still an overrated piece of garbage.

Its a good movie series as long as you don't try and compare it in any way to the games, I like to think of them as parallel universe's myself.

Haha, Barry Burton? That would be a laugh.

I liked the animated movie, Degeneration. It looked like a cutscene the whole way through. It was awesome! Very Very enjoyable.
Why not do a Resident evil 5 movie? That would be kickass.

i liked the first resident evil movie as it went along the suspense filled zombie jumping out of now style that made the games good .

But on the other two they were just people going around shooting zombies with huge guns that has the same horror affect as being attacked by killer bees when you are behind a bullet proof window.

I liked the first Resident Evil movie the most. Mainly because of the fact that it contained actual horror elements, unlike the following two which where just your standard B-movie, post-matrix action flicks. By then I considered it to have gone way overboard and it ceased being interesting.

But then again capcom can be blamed for the same thing. Ever since Resident Evil 4, the RE-series ceased to be about survavil horror. Now it's just standard, run-o-the-mill over the shoulder action gaming. Which could be nice if it weren't for the fact that there are already an absurd-illion action titles out there proliferating the gaming value of it.

If capcom could do the decent thing and go back to horror gaming, and they could've followed the same direction with the movies then I could be happy. Nowadays I just give it all the cold shoulder...

That sounds amazingly like how all the films go. Some random survivors are alone out by themselves and she comes and saves them. Hmmm i wish that it would revert to how the first Resident Evil was with regular people fighting zombies and some actual horror in it.

Put the part I'm referring to in bold. It's exactly that, because she's way too skinny. I don't like girls who look underfed and malnourished. Doesn't sit right with me for some reason :/

I said assets because the size of boobs are really the only thing most men understand. I personally prefer not to go above a size C and actually don't mind a flat chested woman so long as everything manages to just "work" together in a way that's generally pleasing.

No it is not, but this is the internet and I'm going to have a tough time proving it so for the sake of saving time I'll just agree with you. BTW I like girls who look like whores even less than a girl who looks anorexic. Sure, they're fun for awhile but in all honesty I've never met a whore with any real depth to her XD

sigh I know, milla jokcovicvhksado, jokovich? jovovich!! KIND OF annoys me as does her character. But yes, I enjoy resi evil movies, albeit less than the games, I'm not sure what to think about this though :S

There would have to be ALOT of drugs in me before I watch this movie. Not to make the movie awesome, to make the movie plausibly ok.
