I don't know if anybody here watches the show "Real Time with Bill Maher," but those who have probably at least heard of it know it's well known for it's new rule segment, in which it's host Bill Maher lays down a new rule of sorts for somebody or that society should probably follow, usually a really funny one. Sure he get's political in his new rules quite often, but I want us to only focus on the one's he doesn't get too political about. This topic is for those to make and post their own "New Rule," or post their favorite new rule from the show if they can remember it. Please refrain from posting anything that would anger anybody and try to keep this all in the spirit of being funny. I'll start off by making my own new rule and quoting a favorite from the tv show.
My own:
"New Rule - Power Rangers must be canceled. For years this stupid show has been around to entertain kids and they just don't show any orginality. Seriously, the show's been following the same formula it's gone by ever since they killed off the floating talking head guy in a glass container. Now, not only are they not showing any orginality in the new episodes to entertain kids looking to see how to do martial arts or beat weird monsters, they're showing the old episodes that were around when I was a kid, even making new toys based on the old episodes that were around when I was a child. Just goes to show you that it's creators have run out of ideas to rot our children's brains with. With cartoons these days about kids capturing monsters in balls, or kids dueling each other with monsters in cards, or teens with monster like aliens fightning together with lightsabers, can't we just put this show down to sleep already? Heck, Ninja Turtles cartoons these days show more orginality. So please, whoever keeps green-lighting this thing, please do stop and green-light a show that would be good for children, like Beavis and Butt-head or something."
And one of my favorite orginal New Rules:
"Cornbread isn't bread, it's cake!"
