I spend always a really long time on character creators to make the character look the way I want him to look like. And the one in Oblivion was terrible, so it gets me even more excited for this game when I read this.

You'd think you were in Cyrodiil's climate, what with all the no-sleeves and light robes people are wearing.

Why does the Female Dunmer look like a Klingon?
Ninja'd.

*sigh* Well, at least they're getting customisation almost to the level of what the modding community did with the last game. Female Dark Elves are generally my character of choice, and if Bethesda's vision of them is as ugly Klingons, that does not bode well.
I expect you can make them good looking. I'm assuming that there are a lot of different default faces that you can work off of, some that are ugly and some that are more... presentable. Take a look at the different Orcs to see the enormous changes between them.

Daddy likes. Orcs and Argonians are looking specially enticing, this time around.

My Dual-Handed Mace Nord is probably having some less-than-human company, and this is a good thing.

Does this mean we get canine companions!

Anyway, they've really upped the level of character customation. One of those had a damaged eye.
Only if I can name it Dogmeat.

Snow doesn't always mean *that* cold. I live in alaska, and hell, even after a really cold winter with temps around -40F 15-30 degrees in comparison you'll see people out in shorts and t shirts. So, y'know. Even during fall 30-40F isn't that big of a deal (I usually wear a light fall jacket and normal clothes with 0-20F temps -- no one really breaks out heavy winter gear until temps go below -15). Hell, I remember this one kid who always went out in shorts and a tshirt and freaking sandals during winter. Somehow he didn't get frostbite...

Actually, one of the worst things you can do is wear too much warm clothing if you're going to be out and about moving around and building up a good sweat. No sleeves is pushing it, but it's not totally impossible when there's snow out.

I love the heavy browlines they're putting on the Dunmer. It'll be nice to actually be able to tell the races apart from a distance.

Also, the only thing that popped into my head when I saw the Argonian...

These characters look more like their Morrowind counterparts than they do their Oblivion ones, which is very nice. There was a comparison picture I saw not too long ago, and made me realize there was a bit of sameness to characters in Oblivion.

Looks nice, reminds me more of morrowind than oblivion did. The only thing that is bothering me is the orange lines on the Khajiit. Are those meant to be scars? They look flat and like they were drawn on top of the image with a pen. The scars on the others look fine tho. I know that?s nit-picking, I?m not going to throw a hissy fit and swear never to buy the game because some scars look bad.
