Anyone like the look of the new silent hill remake for the wii? However, i think theyve made a huge mistake with dahlia, a teenage girl with piercings and dragon tattoos, what were they thinking?!

Links? References? Honestly, I am not a follower of Silent Hill, I only played a couple hours of a few of them, and knew I didn't like them... but I know that I can't judge a game based on nothing at all.

I agree tbh, i though SH 1,2,3 were gd and then it was just downfall with SH4, Origins and Homecoming :/ Hope this lives up to the Silent Hill name.

Game looks awesome. Might be the same story, but it's definitely not the same game as before. Only thing keeping me from getting excited about this release is the fact it's on Wii. Still might get it, but it's definitely not a must have unless it also comes out on PS3 or 360.

And who cares what Dahlia looks like? That doesn't ruin anything or change the gameplay or storyline.

I sold it at Christmas time for a lot of $. I'm thinking about buying another one. If I do, this will definitely be on my list.

Well, if you want to point out everything that's wrong, let's start with the fact that the vehicle was originally a Jeep and not some brandless car...

But let's not. I see this as I see the remade Casino Royale: a modernization of a classic. Its a remake, in the same sense that every Dracula movie is a remake of its original; its not going to be the same, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy it. Really, the first Silent Hill for me wasn't so much "ohshitI'mgoingtodie!!" scary as it was "what the hell is that, or do I really want to know at all?" creepy.

Frankly though, if they don't put the dogs in there, along with the other whacked-out creatures, I don't think I'd like it as much :\ Those kids in the school... chasing you with the knives... *shivers* I mean, unless I'm mistaken this new Harry doesn't even get a stick At least the old Harry could beat the skinned dogs to death... (and at least so far they haven't shoved Pyramid Head in for his tapdance and bow, or those nurses >.>)

All I want to know is whether Konomi is actually overseeing this time, or just watching Climax Studio from the background like with Origins, smacking their hands every time they do something outrageously stupid instead of just a little stupid.

I do like fact they have used ice this time instead of fire, it does look cool, not that the fire didnt.

Wii, PSP, and PS2, officially. Would be nice if it came to the PS3 and XBox 360, but I have two of the three systems its coming out for, so meh...

And yeah, the ice is different. Hope they do (or did, rather, since they're probably just putting the polishing on it now) something more with it, and added more enemies... which I'm sure they've done both, if they don't want SH fans to skin them alive... again ^-^"

indeed. so dissapointed with orgins and SH4 and homecoming :/ this looks gd tho, maybe make up for the downfall.
