New SSX Game Lives Up to "Deadly" Label

i'll wait for a demo, i played the schizzle out of SSX tricky and loved every second of it. the level with the big pipes and rails and the big fan was awesome, so i'm willing to atleast pay attention.

I think that was Tokyo. And yes, that level kicked major amounts of ass.

yeah, i think that was it.

i forget if that game had split screen or not but if it didn't me and my sister played a race on it and passed the controler for hours on that level.

I don't doubt that this'll be good, but it won't be SSX. I want a bright, colorful mountain and crappy radio music, damnit!

For a good few months, I was obsessed with SSX 3, and it makes me sad to see all the cartoonishness, vibrancy and color stripped from it in favor of another gritty, gray reboot. Well, maybe it'll be a genuinely good game in its own rights; only time will tell.

For god's sake EA, not everything has to be dark and gritty and edgy and edgy! Why, why, why are you doing this to a friggin' awesome franchise?

Okay. Okay, maybe I'm overreacting, I fully admit that. But goddamnit I'm overreacting for a reason. The original SSX Tricky and SSX3 were all colorful, fun games that never took themselves seriously.

C'mon EA, when you're game started out like this;

Something is horribly, horribly wrong.

I don't think the SSX franchise was in such disarray that it needed a reboot, much less an entire freakin' overhaul.

I am scared for this game, I truly am. I loved SSX Tricky and SSX3 to bits, even On Tour was great. This...just...it's....ugh, this isn't SSX, it just isn't. Maybe a new extreme snowboarding game, but not SSX. SSX doesn't deserve this...

Bleh, I'm being extremely nostalgic right now, I'm sure it's clouding my judgement. I need to step back. I'll probably buy the game anyway, but...well, I'm just worried is all.

ahh the tricky intro ^^^^ how i missed that haha. was a great game.. though after that i got a bit bored of it, got to easy. this game may actually convince me to get back onto the ssx bandwagon
