Okay given the heads behind the production I'll bite. I haven't been disappointed by any of their cartoons and I hope they throw a little magic on Thundercats.

It will NEVER be same as the original but those that walk in with that mindset are doomed to disappointment anyway. Live less in the past. Celebrate what was, and try and enjoy somthing new. If it sucks, it sucks. But give it a chance before it's even come out.

Didn't somebody make some fake drawings of a Thundercats cartoon a few years back? I think it was right around when Extreme Looney Tunes or whatever came out and people were pissed.

I won't forgive Cartoon Network until they bring back Samurai Jack.

No, Genndy Tartovsky's doing something with Robot Teens now. Here's a link to it:
Sym-Bionic Titan [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sym-Bionic_Titan]

He's also trying to make a Samurai Jack movie to end the series and there's a rumor going around that he's making a sequel to Jim Henson's famous movie (With PUPPETS) The Dark Crystal.

Anyways, I'll try it, but I probably won't like it. I am not a fan of Anime style shows.

Interesting. Cartoonnetwork going back to one of its old, awesome classics. Could be awesome, but notify me when they bring Toonami back, mk?

Why do they have to ruin my childhood memmories? I doubt it will be at the same level than the original
Complete with "awesome" 80s animation and the "stellar" 80s voice acting? The original Thundercats was fun to watch when we were kids, but I dare you to go back and sit through it again objectively.

5 bucks say your nostalgia goggles shatter themselves. Yeah, I've got fond memories of Thundercats too, but at least I don't delude myself, lol.
I own the collection in DVD =)

I wonder if they'll have to censor the word "hoe" out of the series?

I predict bad things for this series, just as the He-man reboot unless they come up with some really good ideas. Even then, since its a kids show it will be on and off the air in the blink of an eye. Still, THUNDERCATS, HOOOOOO!

Great... ANOTHER retro show for big TV to retardize to death.

But then again, The producers of this show are fairly component. I loved Avatar as a series, and Brave and the Bold is ok.

So...Cartoon network will actually start having Cartoons now?..Whoa...
Ha, I know what you mean.

ThunderCats is executive produced by Sam Register (Teen Titans, Ben 10, Batman: The Brave and the Bold). Michael Jelenic (Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Wonder Woman) and Ethan Spaulding (Avatar: The Last Airbender) are the producers.
None of those shows are really that bad. Action cartoons of our age are okay - it's the shows of the last decade (2000-2010) which base their humor entirely on zaniness and nonsense that really suck. Shows like this [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chowder_(TV_series)] and this [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adventure_Time_(animated_series)] and this [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Marvelous_Misadventures_of_Flapjack]. And then there's this [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camp_Lazlo] Rocko's Modern Life rip-off and this [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Grim_Adventures_of_Billy_%26_Mandy] POS that makes me wanna barf. Can a brotha get a holla up in here?

Ugh. all the shows you linked to make me wanna barf. I mean, if you're totally out of it, you can kind of watch Billy and Mandy, but the rest make me want to beat the head executive of CN so hard his kids get brain tumors!
