New years resolutions

I made a New Years Resolution my sophomore year in high school to never make another New Years Resolution. Thus far, I've kept it.

2. Refrain from purchasing SW:TOR so I won't get addicted to an MMO and fail VCE.

That's pretty much all I can think of right now. I figure there's no point doing the whole 'eat healthily, sleep more than five hours a night and remove eye make-up before going to bed or die' thing because I never do that anyway.

So this year...

Pass driving test.
Get a decent gf.
Purchase ALL futurama episodes.
Goo too the Emirates at least three times.
go on at least 2 long weekends somehwere in europe. (amsterdam and barcelona hopefully)


About it.. I'm turning 20 in 5 days so. gotta start cracking!

Had too many bad party experiences and have had people break up with me over alcohol, so I think it's time to give up the bottle.

So I'm thinking of buying a bag with the red cross symbol to take to parties and fill it with bottles of water and painkillers so I can play Team Medic for my friends.

I actually don't want to do that, so putting it up as a New Year's resolution seems a sure fire way to make sure it never happens.

OT - I have never seriously considered making any New Year's resolutions before. Every year comes around, and the night of people ask me what they are so I just throw a few things out there. But in all honesty, I don't really feel it makes any sense to try to make a change in my life simply because it's a new year. I figure if I'm in need of change, I'll just take action, no matter what damn time of the year it is.

Learn to drive.
I was going to learn to drive anyway so it's hardly a resolution. I never bother making them anyway and don't see the point since most people fail within the first month or two.
