I see what you did there.

OT: I resolve to skip as many lunches and dinners as it takes to scrape together enough money to get all the bloody games that are coming out next year.

Well.. I stuck to my NYR last year ( Get fitter)
Took me a second to get that. I could never read NYR anything else than New York Rangers. Thanks a lot NHL!

OT: I'm really trying to quit smoking cigarettes. That's not going to be a New Year's resolution hopefully, as I've settled, yet another, date for December.

Propose to my girlfriend.

I actually don't want to do that, so putting it up as a New Year's resolution seems a sure fire way to make sure it never happens.
Ouch, that's rough
It's not as bad as it looks! I maybe, possibly, plausibly want to marry her some day. Just not while we're both still in college.

To never look under Quoted in my inbox. The only time people quote you is when they want to incessantly fucking argue.

Last year my resolution was to complete my 3 WH40k armies.

Failure!

This year: Get achievements on a shitload of video games I plan on getting for Christmas.

Three things, in order of importance.

First, just be a less horrible person in general.

Same as every year, I guess. Very nearly everyone I know tells me I'm failing.

Second, work more/get more stuff done. Time spent gaming, reading, or sleeping in (which, in my case, is 5+ hours. I only need 4) is time I could spend working, either around the house or on my actual job. I shouldn't spend any of the day being lazy, in other words. Partly going with this since it's what I'm told by my parents practically every day.

Third one's mostly done already, just need to work on eliminating it completely. I need to stop spending money on myself. Not particularly in the sense that I need to save more, just not buying myself anything that I don't strictly need. If I just want something rather than need it, well, forget it. Money spent on something I want is better spent on something someone else wants. Simple as that.

So yeah, quite a few. Here's hoping it works.

I'm probably making the same resolutions this year I've made the past few. Y'know. Lose weight, quit smoking, stop being a cynical old bastard.
This year though I'm changing things up, with my nr.1 resolution being: find employment. Any kind.

Since I've lost a bunch of weight in the past 3 months, my resolution is to just stick to what I'm doing and continue to get healthier.

1920x1080, 1080p FullHD in other words.

- Get a job
- Get enough money for stuff I want, for example the orgasmic HTC Desire HD.
- Start working out so I can be in a better physical shape
- Start doing at least some homework at home, even though I fo completely fine in all subjects without them.
- Probably a lot more.

To not care about a few stupid resolutions, and, instead, try to improve everything about me the moment I feel something needs fixing.

I've done that for a few years now, works every time.
