That'd be easy. Raphael already has something similar.Sapient Pearwood said:How you'd balance million stab is anyone's guess thoughNeutralDrow said:He's certainly my choice, though. He's even got more of a possible moveset than most people realize...because most people wrongly ignore DMC2.

Dante is alright for a choice but I would imagine that Vergil is a more proper figure for SC. Why? Because Vergil is constantly seeking power and the Soul Calibur would be something that Vergil would most definitely take an interest in. Not to mention he has an equally devastating moveset like Dante's that would easily translate well for SC.NeutralDrow said:I heard they were originally planning to put Dante as a guest in SC3, but it didn't pan out.

True, but he might also be a little too close to Mitsurugi and Setsuka in style. As far as I remember, Dante would be the only one with a two-handed broadsword (not counting Siegfried's zweihander), and his potential moveset is really a lot larger.CrazyCapnMorgan said:Dante is alright for a choice but I would imagine that Vergil is a more proper figure for SC. Also remember that during the fight with Arkham, he was no slouch using Dante's Rebellion sword. If anything, Vergil is just as competant with two-handed weaponry as he is with one-handed weaponry. Case in point - Nelo Angelo Vergil. Need I say more?NeutralDrow said:True, but he might also be a little too close to Mitsurugi and Setsuka in style. Then again, if you gave Vergil Yamato, Beowulf, and Force Edge, it might work...
Good to know =D. I'm always surprised more people haven't played onimusha, I mean it's resident evil with samurai....and pandas! What about that isn't made of brilliance?Amethyst Wind said:I'm willing to bet you a considerable amount of money and panda-costumes that this isn't the case.Ampersand said:They should give the arbiter a shot, that would be excellent....oh and Samanosuke needs to be in something again because i'm beginning to suspect that i'm the only one who knows who that is.
I meant more because of how they are presented in their home games - based in reality (or should I say "reality"), and the person playing the game is actually playing Desmond playing Ezio/Altair. Although they could get really meta and say that Desmond has hijacked the Animus to play Soul Calibur and imported Ezio into it or something...Maraveno said:2 bladed robed figuresevilstonermonkey said:I quite like the Ezio idea actually. He could be a fun character to play if done right, though it would admittedly feel wierd switching from the combat controls of AC to a full-on fighter style game. Or maybe Altair - I can imagine his back story being done as a series of journal entries, in a similar style to the codex pages Ezio finds, where he details his search for "a weapon of great power, spoken of in legend, capable of manipulating the minds of those around it. Potentially another piece of eden, it is regardless a great temptation to those who covet power and as such must be controlled or destroyed."
Although with that said, I think the Creed characters would seem quite out of place in the Calibur verse.
I reckon they'd do just fine
