The 3DS launch was a bomb, and Nintendo forgot how to release and market games. Seriously, The only high profile game that came out on the Wii this year was Kirby's Return To Dreamland.

Wha? When was this? I don't remember the Wii ever "ruling the console playground with an iron fist".
I remember it being mostly ignored by the AAA gaming community, gamers and devs both. Maybe it sold more than PS3 or 360, but most of those sales were to an entirely different audience.
