Wait, did I just hear Darksiders II and Assassin's Creed on the Wii U?

What? Almost half of these games that were on the PS3 and 360 are being released on Wii U.

You can draw and add designs on Tekken characters in Tekken Wii. Nice.

OH MY GOD. Ninja Gaiden 3! I need to keep my eye on Nintendo somemore about this new system.

3rd party support looks good, but I still don't understand how you would play a shooter with that controller. Too wide and awkward, and the sticks above the buttons are very awkward.

Mass Effect logo on the screen.
BioWare games being on it will win me over.

This is...... interesting. I might have to dust off my Wii and play some AssCreed or Batman.

I get the feeling that developers arent willing to miss the opportunity to capitalise on the next nintendo console after missing the wii. MONEY!
And we have confirmed online. Win Nintendo. Win.

Wii U's controller overwhelms me. That and all those starter-game previews were gritty and bloody, and dark. If they're going to make Wii U hardcore, they should make the U part black and red with blood dripping off =P

edit - on the by, is the Wii U just the controller? Or is it a whole new system as well?

This is what I'm wondering as there's no way the current Wii has the power to pump this stuff out.

It's an entirely new console. If you notice in the videos they have shown you can see it next to the TV. Looks like a slightly bigger (and less angular) Wii.

And, looks like we might be seeing future ME releases on a Nintendo console o_O

In response to what he's saying, yes, the DS/Wii changed gaming, but not always for the better.

Also, sure, the WiiU looks like it's going to be promising, but I'm guessing this kind of technology is not going to be cheap...

I know this is really confusing.
He just said, "revolutionary controller FOR Wii U". I think the console is just mundane compared to the controller (or they don't have the final look for the console nailed down).

It's both.
They should really use a different name. Or maybe I've just gotten used to Cafe.

Since they're touting HD graphics, I'm guessing it's a new console.

I for one can't wait to get my hands on the Workers' International Industrial Union.

To my knowledge the WiiU is the new console, and they're praising the controller for said console.

Project Cafe = WiiU
Project Cafe Controller = Big Ol' iPad Controller

To me it sounds like a console and a controller. The console transmits wirelessly to the controller. . .or so I think.
