Serious: Well, with the weak launch line-up, there wasn't much incentive for people to buy one. Just wait a little. Also, a price drop would help, and maybe a game to come with the system? Right Nintendo, you used to do that. What ever happened to including a game to go with the system? You were the last company still doing that. Please don't let it stop now...

I do wonder about that. Although, technically, it's not strictly 100% accurate.
The 3DS has internal memory after all, and it contains a set of built-in AR games.

(AR games & face raiders. + all the non-game stuff built-in, but that doesn't really count.)

That's a bit weak compared to what they used to include with systems though.
(But, to be honest, so is Wii Sports.)

Huh. I really want a purple one too. But, there's a problem.

The Wii's initial reveal showed 5 colours. 6 years later, only 2 of those exist, plus a special edition that is none of the colours revealed at launch.

clearly, just because they show it at an event, doesn't mean it will ever get released.

Just wait 2 years for the 3DS xl to come out. That thing is WAY too small right now.

Personally, I'm holding out for the Super 3DS II Turbo HD Championship Edition.

I love my DS Lite, so I'm holding out on the 3DS until it has some really solid games...

Is it bad that one of the things I like most about it is the shiny shiny blue colour?

EDIT: no kidding, I can see my reflection in this thing

whenever the sunlight is directly pointed at my 3ds, specifically the top screen, it causes a bunch of rainbow lens flares to spiral outward from the source

once again, this is all true, try it, and then complain about how that disrupts your gameplay or something even if it is still cool

I'm gonna quote Bill from Left 4 Dead, "Bull Frickin' Horse Shit!". Every company wants their products to sell out, it brings in profit which in turn is gas in the tank. I'm pretty sure that their pissed to high hell that every child in every country didn't by a 3DS and the shitty library that came with it. A remake of Ocarina of Time? Pfft, I don't wanna play on that shitty little screen and tiny buttons, when I can go back and play on my flat plasma screen and N64.

Note: I never plan to buy the 3DS, because any game that the chuck out on it has already been done before and better.
