I agree with Yahtzee when it comes to nintendo and I gave up on them as soon as I got a Decent PC. We all know why we hate nintendo, the fact that they have been making so much money from the casual market and their dead horse franchises, the way they make the same games over and over again
I can't blame them for their buisness plan or making money, pastel colured shirt wearing families and other attractive people need a way to have fun and connect with their kids/freinds without leaving the house right? no ones making me play with the Wii anyway so really I shouldn't complain BUT
one thing I will complain about is Metroid other M (metroid happens to be the one franchise out of the infamous three that I actually like) , no I haven't played it but i know enough to see that its a very low point in the franchise, Adimitidly I'm not sure but I don't think its entirely Nintendos fault since 3rd party developers had somthing to do with it.
So anyway what if Nintendo sold the rights to metroid to somone else? do you think another developer could do the best female videogame hero ever justice?
Another thing is I really wish Mario would die, he's getting on my nerves, In fact that would be a really good videogame plot in which a depressed and bitter Sonic goes on a muderous rampage through the mushroom kingdom after finally losing his mind, and in the end has a bloody fight with mario whom he eventually beats to death before commiting suicide knowing that he will never regain the glory of his past and will forever be a washed up has-been....
ok mabye not but its nice to dream once in a while
