Another thing is I really wish Mario would die, he's getting on my nerves, In fact that would be a really good videogame plot in which a depressed and bitter Sonic goes on a muderous rampage through the mushroom kingdom after finally losing his mind, and in the end has a bloody fight with mario whom he eventually beats to death before commiting suicide knowing that he will never regain the glory of his past and will forever be a washed up has-been....

The only reason of the massive outcry on Other M is based on the idea that players had of Samus did not correspond with what the writers had.

The players envisioned Samus to be Just Another Emotionless Action Hero, Who Talks With Her Plasma Beam Instead of Words.

While the writers actually made her a real, interesting rounded character.

The game is fun, has some awesome moments.
And if you honestly thought that the "OMG I just conveniently found the weapon I needed to continue in a random cave in a ice covered zone." way of collecting items is tied in better in the narrative then putting them on-line. Then you seriously need to tell me how many times you found a random item in a ridiculous place, just when you needed it.
Sure, the 'putting the varia suit off-line even though it has no negative drawback' is a little silly in the narrative. It's still better then randomly finding it.

Nintendo do not keep making the same games.

Other M is not the same as Metroid Prime 3.
Mario Galaxy is not the same as Super Mario Bros. or the spin-off games.
Twilight Princess is not the same as Spirit Tracks, etc.

Also don't criticise games you haven't even played at all.

This, this and this again. Seriously, you're new here and you want to make a name for yourself by making an edgy, controversial thread, that's cool, but parroting Yahtzee ain't the way to go. Yahtzee hasn't done Halo Reach yet, you should have made an "AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO THINKS REACH SUCKS" thread and I might have more respect for your trolling.

On the other hand I didn't need to play MOM (oh hey look at that abbreviation) to know that the voice acting would be terrible to the point of affecting the gameplay; I saw a leaked sneak peek on Youtube, commented on how bad it sounded, and got voted down to the point of people needing to click on the comment I made within a half hour to see it. I also received several hate messages ranging from 'it was the quality of the video itself' to incoherent walls of texts from raving fanboys who forgot their ritalin.

And yes, I did rent the damned game regardless. Once. Which was plenty.
