QFT.

If you combined the Wii's controls with the XPS360's graphics and the PC's online capabilitys, you'd have one awesome console.

I guarantee their next move will most likely piss me off in some way. Nintendo really needs to go back to the good old days who cares that the Gamecube wasn't the best seller, i don't understand why they feel their forced to throw all of this shovel ware crap at us.

Yeah I think they'll release a Wii with better graphics - but no one will notice, because all of the shovelware for the system will still look like it was made 12 years ago.

How about a system with some decent games? Or graphics? If the Wii had graphics like the 360 or PS3, along with its motion controls. Wow. I'm guessing that Nintendo is going to want something new. So how about................ controlling with your mind? I dunno :p

No one get offended when I say this (Or do, I don't really care) I've been a nintendo fan since I was born. From the NES to the GCN, they were my company of choice. Now, with the current generation of consoles, Microsoft has my vote. The Wii is not for me, pure and simple. 360 has the games I want to play, and that's really what it's all about, for anyone.

BUT this is off topic

After Nintendos Motion sensitive products for the Wii, they really can't go back. The only way they can go, is forward, and I think we'll all agree that they don't have the budget, and we (Earth, in this case) don't yet have the technology. Personally, I was disapointed with the Wii, but that's just my opinion. I really don't see Nintendo having a next step, not yet. It's too late for them to go back to basic console-ing, now that they've done motion sensitivity, but with the majority running towards Sony or Microsoft, this may be the end of them on the console market. And seeing as they don't produce for PC, and are barely hanging by the skin of their teeth in the handheld market, the Wii may very well have been the beginning of the end of Nintendo. Let's all have a moment of Silence for this fallen Hero.

Shapsters is right, the Wii is really underpowered. I find it ironic that the pinnacle of a "casual game" company or one that plans to market to the broadest audience is one of the most dearly beloved by hardcore gamers. Though it sounds paradoxical, it's true, how hardcore do you have to be to still play games from the 80's and early 90's, when games far superior in graphics and controls are out now? Though you could argue that the Wii is just Nintendo deciding to give developers their imagination and the basic tools to keep up with the next generation of consoles, remember that the NES, the SNES and the N64 were all revolutionary for their technical advancements. The Wii does have in depth motion sensors which Nintendo took a gamble on and won, but in terms of graphics and regular controls that don't come off as gimmicky, I feel that it's just not there. And yes I realize that there's more to a game than graphics and controls, but still Nintendo needs to step their game up IMO
You are correct, there is more than graphics and controls that make a game good (i.e. Wind Waker) but, nowadays, Graphics are what the majority are interested in, sadly. I still think Nintendo should at least attempt to produce a Wii game with absolutely no Motion Sensitive gimmicks in it...just once...and let the public see how they feel about it. This might warrant them a shot at 'stepping back' if you take my meaning, getting out of Motion Sensitivity...and going back to 'holding the controller with your hands, instead of flailing around making my neighbors think I'm on drugs'

I think Nintendo should produce a system with a more powerful processor to improve the graphics and develop more mature game content to appeal to those want more in depth games like myself. They could implement the motion controls the same way just use different content that people want. :)

Nintendo, like Sega, make awesome games, they had some good consoles but their last ones sucked, Sega realised this and went into game development for other consoles and did well for it, Nintendo, while being in a stronger position than Sega, should do the same.

Well, it looks like the Zelda and Mario franchises might die off within the next several years, Metroid hasn't become too stale though. More than likely more Wii shovelware will be made. Pokemon let's see they've done: Time and Space, every human emotion, every natural element, Life and Death. What now? We go for GOD! Oh wait, we've already got that one.
Yeah, they are noobed.

Close the coffin. Simple as that. Nintendo rules the handhelds, but they are losing the console wars faster than the French army can retreat.

Shovelware 128, a console just to throw big piles of shit on! It will be more powerful and still have motion censor controls but almost every game will be a Mii game or something as dumb as Animal Crossing.

Or maybe they will regain their honor and make some great games and we won't have to rely on motion censor for opening the bloody Wii menu. Oh, and they should speed up the net.

I liked the Dreamcast too, but it failed. So will the Wii.
