Why did they even bother porting it any ways?
Couldn't they understand that if they didn't release all the versions at once, the ones that didn't have it would realise from rants and bad user reviews that it's crap?

Oh well,it's going to flop and no one will care, being to busy with a vastly superior game that actually deserved a sequel, unlike Fable. You all know what game I'm talking about,so I won't say it,for fear of hyping you guys up some more and you feel as if time passed slower.

releasing an RPG more geared towards casuals and toddlers during the same week as the witcher is just a bad choice anyway. your average RPG-gamer loves his dark, violent complex game.

I would have at least liked to try the game.

That said, it was released late, as an obviously bad console port, with mixed reviews, and now no demo. That definitely adds up to no sales.

Your 'moral choice' system is essentially just a rant against conservative politics
Thank you, I thought I wasn?t the only one who noticed that.
How could we not notice? It was about as subtle as a brick to the face. :p

PC gamers tend to get mad over little things, and blow it out of proportion.
Demos are a much bigger deal on the PC than for the console. Both platforms have the same risk of "The Game Might Suck", but consoles don't have to worry about ending-up with what might as well be a $60 coaster when they learn it won't run on their machine. This is less of an issue with most indie titles, sure, but for something like Fable, I don't want to drop that kind of cash only to learn that my machine can barely run the game; if at all.

Never ever trust anything that comes from a project which our lying friend Peter Molyneux is involved in.

Well, you could pirate it if you wanted to try it out, but who the fuck would want to pirate that shit to begin with?

(I don't endorse piracy.)

After hearing what people had to say about Fable III, I wouldn't be interested even if a demo did come out.

And after producing a terrible game, releasing the PC version several months after the Xbox version and not providing a demo, they are still going to end up crying about poor PC sales. Nevermind that those poor sales might actually be....you know, for legitimate reasons...
you think also they could use it as an excuse to not release more stuff on PC?

like gears of war 2?

So. Microsoft: Make me want Fable 3 on PC. Just give me one good reason to get this
simplified, late, overpriced, inferior, poorly-handled port of an
RPG instead of The Witcher 2.

Whoops. Too late. Already preordered one of the two. Guess which one! Guess who gets my fifty bucks today, and who gets ten bucks during the Steam winter sale! Go on... it's not hard...
With as poorly as it's going to sell, you could probably pick it up for about 10 bucks in July.

Wasn't going to buy/play it anyway.

Much better RPG being released the same day.

Besides that why the hell would I want to play the third game on my platform of choice when I couldn't play the second one.

Hey Microsoft not releasing a demo for a PC game screams "Bad game, Crappy Port"!

They'll blame the bad PC sales on Piracy inevitably and then no more Fable for PC.

Am I the only one who's is excited to acutally play Fable III? Im guessin the most PC gamers are still pissed bout not gettin Fable II for the PC. Yea theres no demo so what wait til the 17th.
I was excited... about 7 months ago!.
Fable was simple action-rpg with few intresting features and few terrible. But i liked it, it was fun. I was intrested in the 3rd instalment. Fable 3 for PC should have been released the same day as the console versions. Now, after bad reviews and seeing gameplays etc, and assuming that they just did simple port with higher resolution, it is not worth it.

Also i imagine in my head this conversation:

developer#1:Ok guys, we need to do some serious brainstorming. What can we do to convince people not to buy this game for PC platform. Think

developer#2: We can always release their version 7 months after other versions. That way we can show them how much we don't care. And xbox owners will be happy because they will have exclusive, and we all know that exclusives sells better.

developer#1: That's great idea, but we need more. I think they will still buy it.

developer#3: You know how PC gamers love demos, so they can check how the game will run on their systems? And how demo can hype players if you make it right? Let's not make one!
*someone is claping in the back*

developer#1: That's awesome idea! And that way we don't have to do anything, you really are smart. you should get a raise. Any other ideas?

developer#4: Oh i have one. *he stands up*. Maybe we should release game the same day as other RPG. You see our game targets casual but rpg fans, when we release game the same day as the biggest RPG release after Dragon Age 2 and before Skyrim. We could earn even less money.

developer#1: that's great idea... and to think that bioware shifts their ME3 release after
battlefield 3 so this two games would not compete. What a morons, right? Great ideas guys... Because of your vast intelect we won't get any profit for this release.

No demo, no sale. PC games can be temperamental so lack of a demo is a killer. Really wanted to give this game a chance. Oh well.
Exactly, I use demos more as a performance test than seeing if I like the game.
