No 'Normal' people here?

There are no normal people in the disorder threads because no one is going to go there to say something unless it's interesting.

Well, yeah. You don't get posts on a 'Brag about your worst accidents' thread saying "I stubbed my toe yesterday, and it still hurts a bit ='("
People will only post what they think will interest others, and saying "I have a tiny bit of aspergers" is not that interesting

On topic, I'm close to normal, but I do have slight aspergers, in that I like patterns, numbers, logic and order, but I can still bear having a messy room.
I like to stop my food from mixing, and I don't like stepping on cracks in the pavement or only touching things with one finger, but I don't get hung up about it.
On the other hand, I can find beauty in an equation and love creating art from applying mathematical rules

To demonstrate my point, that was hardly the most gripping read, was it?

the majority of people in the world do not live in Europe and North America and I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that most of us are.

besides, sometimes I get the feeling that "normal" people are a minority in the world.

Thanks. As I said, I don't have anything remotely like real asperger's, and I do love words. ("If numbers are, then words dream")
However, it might show in that I sometimes spend several minutes just trying to think of exactly the right word for the right idea

That's the one where you obsess about having illnesses you don't actually have, right?

I heard that in some extreme cases, the belief of illness can actually force the body to simulate symptoms. Ie someone who thought they had flu had a temperature and was being sick purely because he thought he was ill

Also, as ThrobbingEgo said, don't decide you have something until someone with a PHD tells you that you have it. For me, it took an educational psychologist and a general IQ test to make sure

Actually, that comment inspired me to look it up, and you're right, the illness I made up in my mind after I read your post was definitely not aspergers.
