Those stats aren't exactly impressive, what they are armed with is the equivalent of muskets.
That's interesting. When I was there, they looked more like Chinese knock-offs of the AK-47. Must be pretty hard to muzzle load the most successful assault rifle in history.
He was being metaphorical.

And having a bunch of Ak-47's doesn't exactly help you when your enemy can bomb your ass until he runs out of bombs or you run out of soldiers.

I also have serious questions about NK's logistical situation. It doesn't sound like they have anything like a legitimate arms industry(unless you count making cheap knock off of the stuff you can't buy "legitimate"), nor a reliable source of fuel, nor the sheer logistics train required to make their army actually work. Not to mention the maintenance required to keep their tanks, planes and ships in working order.

AKA I'd be extremely surprised if they have enough resources to run a war for a month, assuming a war with anyone else lasts that long. I can only imagine 1 million soldiers with 100,000 bullets, tanks that break down driving to the front(assuming they have enough fuel to get there), shells that fail to explode upon impact(Iraq found out the hard way in 1991 why loading your own tank shells often doesn't help), and planes that fall out of the air due to crappy maintenance.

I wonder how America would react if two star actors from a foreign country made a movie about killing Obama. I bet they'd skip the empty threats of war, but I doubt the reaction would be friendly.
I can imagine certain Americans would love that movie. The same ones who blame Obama for everything that goes wrong in the world.

A lot of Americans would love it, but what would be America's stance? I doubt that nobody in North Korea likes the idea of the Seth Rogen movie- people in opposition to the government exist in every country. However, would Obama, the American head of state, react much different? He would likely not make empty threats of war, as I said, but I bet the word "terrorist" would get bandied about quite a bit.

Shut up, Kim. Every leader gets assassinated in works of fiction. Why should you be an exception?
