wait your ps3 will play ps2 games? mine won't.SomeBritishDude said:Well I've been driving back into a few PS2 games lately (which is retro for me, my first console).
I've just tried to get back into Silent Hill 2 again. It's brilliant, but so scary I'm not sure I'll ever complete it without freaking out and giving up.
It looks a good deal better when you play it on a 1920x1080 monitor with custom shaders.teutonicman said:I recently played through Spyro as well, that was quite the nice trip down memory lane. The only problem was the graphical downgrade.ALuckyChance said:I've been using an emulator to play the Spyro series, and it's an awesome nostalgia trip so far.

Any model will play PS1, though, from my understanding.Ertol said:My PS3 plays both PS2 and PS1 games. The new ones don't have backwards compatibility, but older ones do. I made sure to get one, so I could play all my old games. No matter how good graphics get, a lot of PS2 and PS1 games are my favorite games of all time.
GET IT. GET IT. GET IT. You will not regret getting The Longest Journey.BreakfastMan said:Depends on what you consider "retro" gaming. I have been playing a lot of last-gen games recently. I also recently ordered Chrono Cross from Amazon, and I am thinking about getting The Longest Journey. So, yeah, I am.
