We all know of games that suffer from the case of verbal diarrhea and prolonged cutscenes and cinematics that you wish you were in. But what games have you played didn't have enough cutscenes?
I'll start by saying Bad Company 2, which I'm playing at this minute. While I do get that Battlefield games are more aimed at online play, it seems like they didn't build up the backstory on this at all. They make such big climaxes where we're supposed to connect with all the characters, but there is so little story behind it. They didn't build up the characters, and they only show a few glimpses of their personalities and who they are. And it can't be called a sequel to the first Bad Company, as they remade all characters personalities from the first without even explaining it. Which is all a shame, cause the story is more interesting than most shooters I've played, and if they just put more effort into the campaign, it could be my contender for favorite FPS.
