Also, did anyone else go to Andale? That little town with the ideal American families? Where everything seems too perfect and no one seems to notice they live in a nuclear wasteland?

J-just...don't l-look in th-the shed behind th-the house...*gulp*
I looked in the shed. Gah!

Then I had to pull off a sweet speech challenge to convince the Andale folk that what was in there was A-OK by me.

... but it wasn't, so I killed them dead as they walked away.

Aye. I didn't even bother trying to explain myself. Just leapt right into it. Me and Charon (who I call Argyle) made short work of a couple of hillbillies armed with knives.

Whatever happened to the kids? They just disappeared in my game... I like to fondly think that they went off and were initiated into a Raider crew, and that I will eventually run into them some day and eventually finish off this whole Andale nightmare.

I have EVERY weapon, that includes the Alien gun... And I have discovered EVERY location, and I found Dogmeat at the Junkyard
I don't know what all the achievements are for Fallout 3, so some of these may be repeated, but you need to find your self a hobby. This is something I have gotten in the habit of doing for games like Fallout 3 and Oblivion. In the game, you just start collecting random stupid stuff, like for instance I collected torches in Oblivion. A simple enough task, but by the time I quit playing that character I had over 300. Also in Oblivion and I have started doing this in Fallout too, I collected one of Each different type of weapon and armor and repaired them to full health. In Fallout, getting everything to full health is the hard part. Also try to get every following character, I think there are seven not including Dogmeat.

Alright, I've read liek 16 posts and think I can formulate a valid opinion.

I think you're an achievement hounder because if you want to play a game for the sake of playing a fucking game you would have found it more enthralling as oppossed to half done. How do I know this because I spent the entire first of the game out the vault I went the wrong fuckign way for half an hour and did some questing. If you paly it casually it's very good I think the game is good and I think the storyline is as good as any game that's come out so far though I think Half Life 2 was a great game. I feel now that fallout 3 is the best game I've played. I just bought oblivion but haven't played it.

To sum up : If you play the game for the sake of atmosphere and gameplay it's a definite shot to play and it's definetly the best fallout without saying. But to say it's half done is absoloutley prepostorous. There's so much you can do. And as for the game being short. Just try actually walking around instead of Pip-Boy Teleporting.
my sentiments exactly, but with less anger. While the main quest is somewhat short and probably could be done in a day, to say that you've done everything is simply impossible. With games like Fallout 3 and even Half Life 2 to some degree, it is always important to remember that these games are designed and built to be more about the journey than the destination. The actual enjoyment you get from a game comes from playing it rather than just finishing it. Some people seem to not realize this and thus don't get the enjoyment they would if they just looked at the game with a different mindset. For example, part of the fun of Fallout 3 really is in just wondering around the wasteland with Dogmeat with no real destination in mind.

Another way to get more out of Fallout 3 is to look for "Non Quest Quests", or "Note Quests" (Just made those names up). These are the little things you can do that make characters do different things, or are are just a series of notes that are interesting. Examples of these are things like giving that one chick in Rivet City Ant Pheromones which causes her to get married to Diego at a wedding you can actually attend. Or finding the note that leads you to a key to open up a case and find "Naughty Nightwear" which you are rewarded for if you return to Girdershade. I have no clue how many of these type quests there are, but they do provide a good bit of interest that is easy to overlook if you only want to complete all the side quests and grab all the bobble heads.

P.S. Outlaw Star rocks. I just re watched the whole series last weekend.

How the hell do you propose I found all the locations by "Pipboy teleporting" Everywhere... seeing as you need to have been to the location before you can teleport there....
Think before you speak man...

And you guys, in general, seem to think that I'm doing somthing wrong...
I'm not... I have done absolutely everything there is to do, except for the Notebook quests (thank you to whoever pointed that out to me, I'll be sure to go back and do them, I never really read my notebook)...

I think this is one of those games that follow well in line with some of the aspects of Morrowind, that were somewhat lacking in Oblivion. Doing stuff just for the sake of doing it. You don't need some promise of caps or a nifty new coat just to want to figure out what lives in that burned out crater over there. You may have completed "almost" every quest and gotten "almost" every achievement, but I seriously doubt you've done everything there is to do in the game in a 24 hour sitting.

I don't know where you get off randomly cutting a snippet out of my post and pulling it out of context but that post was implemented to more than just you. Other than that re-reading your posts it seems as though you cranked/grinded or just cheated. I don't think you enjoyed the game becasue you just wanted to beat it. Maybe you should take it slower and actually think about your character and try to immerse yourself. But then again I can't tell people how to play a game.

Oh and I do realize that you need to go to the location in order to Pip-Port there I just mean instead of Pip-Porting everywhere simply drink in the atmosphere more.

Does anyone know exactly when the Operation Anchorage DLC is going to be released? I know they said this month, but I haven't heard a date yet.
